I am a non-denominational Ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church. I became a minister because I believe that everyone has a choice of who they wish to spend their life with. With so many people getting away from the formality of the Church, there is a need for a minister
who has no limitations as to when and where a marriage can be performed. That is where I come in. A few types of ceremonies that I will perform include:
• Spiritual Ceremony: is often inspiring and universal in feeling with no particular religious influence
• Christian Ceremony: will have a reference to God and Jesus.
• Non-Denominational: is a ceremony that is not any particular denomination.
• Civil or Non-Religious: ceremonies have no religion in the ceremony; a couple may have a poem that would be meaningful to them as a prayer would be to a religious person. A non-religious ceremony can be very warm and heartfelt; focusing on the love you share for one another.
• Commitment Ceremony: follows the same format and choices as all wedding ceremonies. A public ritual of a commitment ceremony can cement a special bond between a couple and their guests. Handfasting falls into this type of ceremony
• Renewal of Vows: may be for a special anniversary in a marriage. This is a time to celebrate your good fortune and to publicly say Yes, I would do it again.
• Same S*x Ceremony follows any of the formats that the couple wishes to choose.
• Specialty Ceremonies such as Native American, Scottish, Biker, Pagan, etc
I will also do naming ceremonies, blessings, and memorial services. Let me be a part of creating the special, unique and memorable wedding ceremony that you and your soul mate want. I will assist you in planning the ceremony of your dreams that includes your personal beliefs, the individuality of each of you, and the traditional elements that you desire. When you choose me as your wedding officiant, I will strive to make your event as stress-free as possible. I will meet with you before the wedding so that I can get to know you, how you met, tell your stories and discover what you expect from your ceremony. From the time we spend together, I can prepare a unique, personalized marriage ceremony that will reflect the joy of having found each other. I will guide and assist you in preparing your personal vows of commitment, if you choose to write them yourself. I will also advise you regarding elements of the ceremony such as readings, songs, rituals and traditions. I will be there to help to organize your wedding party and make sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time. This is your special day; it is my job to make sure that the ceremony comes off without a hitch. Your ceremony location is your choice whether it is indoors or outdoors, beside a lake on the beach or on a mountaintop, in a grassy field or a farmer’s barn, golf course or reception hall; I will consider any venue that you wish your dream wedding to take place. Whether your wedding is a small, intimate affair or a gala event full of friends and family, together we will make magic happen. This is the time for you to rejoice in your love and to make a memory that you will enjoy for life.
