Vor ein paar Jahren packte Mobit seine Koffer und sagte auf Wiedersehen zu Deutschland. Seitdem ist Koh Phangan in Thailand sein Zuhause, ebenso wie der Oxa Beach Club, bei dem er nicht nur als DJ, sondern auch hinter den Kulissen aktiv ist. Mit seinem dynamischen Sound zwischen Indie Dance und Peak-Time-Techno zählt er zu den musikalischen Chamäleons - immer den passenden Sound für die Crowd im Gepäck. Seine Produktionen findet man größtenteils zum Free Download auf seiner SoundCloud-Seite und auf Labels wie Katzenjammer.

This set was recorded on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. I was playing from 2AM to 4AM. I started with some bouncy Tech House and switched back to Indie Dance inbetween to lighten it up a bit. Went back and forth between Tech House and Indie which wasnt that easy but fun! Enjoy the result!

3AM - is my weekly playtime during my residency at OXA Beach. 3AM marks the moment when those who came for entertainment begin to leave, and the ones who came for the music choose to stay. 3AM is the time when I can let myself go and play whatever I feel like.

This set was recorded on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. I was playing from 3AM to 5AM. I started with some more dark and heavy indie dance, went to progressive house and back to some more fluffy indie dance in between to bring some fresh energy. Enjoy the result!

🔥New Track Release [Free Download]🔥 https://soundcloud.com/mobit-bln/amica I´ve made a new track with some recordings straight out of my kitchen. To be precise, from my oven named “Amica”.. It was a lot of fun to fool around with field recordings and getting creative with effects and plugins on them. In fact, I´ve used only two samples and those were high hats. Anything else has been recorded or made with snyth´s, KICK2 and so on. Its nice to see that my productions develop more and more even though there´s still a long way to go. About mobit.

How it started.

Born and raised in Berlin, mobit found his passion for electronic music and the scene in clubs like Sisyphos and Tresor. The idea of playing music himself came one night in a bar somewhere in Thailand. He watched two backpackers entering the bar and asking the barman “Hi there, can we play music here tonight?”. The barkeeper shrugged his shoulders and answered “yeah why not”. They set up a small controller plus laptop and started to play.

A few days later mobit´s own controller was on the way from Berlin to Bangkok. Inspired and highly motivated he travelled through South East Asia and took every opportunity to play in any bar, beach parties and festivals that crossed his way.

Back in Berlin he decided to ran own events and started promoting parties in smaller clubs. In 2019 he cofounded the event label Katzenjammer and played there as resident on many venues in and around Berlin.
