I strive to make meals for the community as healthy as possible using organic produce and making everything from scratch, I use avocado oil for most meals and animal fat for others because it’s healthier than the highly processed junk oils they gaslit us into using. This is my take on fajitas but with more veggies and hella ❤️, the Cocina Del Corazón way. Today I fed 60+ veterans with the help of my lil brother and for providing a safe space for our vets. helped us provide fresh produce, eggs, salads, and sweet desserts! In community, anything is possible.

With continued support from we are diverting imperfect produce from landfills and into the hands of people who need them. Once a week I pick up produce and distribute to 3 key locations and cook meals in partnership with and and for our beautiful vets once a month . It really takes a village and a lot of heart. It’s a long day of distro that’s unpaid in cash but paid in love when folks give me their blessings and pray for my continued strength to keep doing what I do, cuz Lord knows it gets hard to stay motivated when you move under the radar. I don’t do it for likes I do it for the love of my peoples. I been told that I have to share more. Y’all stay positive and remember to love and respect each other.

It’s the love I get from people that receive these gifts that keeps me motivated. In my youth my family struggled and we were blessed with a neighbor/landlord that would drop off goodie bags from the Salvation Army. We would walk up the stairs to discover the brown paper bags filled with goodies. I can still remember very well the plain labels of Peanut Butter, the canned goodies, as well as the yellow cheese. It’s these actions of love that taught me the importance of sharing and spreading the love. Mrs. Holmes from West Oakland Lower Bottoms a community figure and saint.
