Crikey what a year it’s been for them!
After a few years of success with them, I guess it was time for a bad year (🤞it’s a one off)

I’ve had ones which have just rotted, lots which the 🐌 have feasted on and lots that were just too short or nibbled to cut. I’m hoping next year will be better but thats mostly in the hands of nature which as we all know is totes unpredictable right now.

Anyway I’ll just leave these here

On the plus side they were too short to sell in bunches so I get to have them in the house …… small wins

Lots more flowers picked today on a quick run round the field before the rain arrived.

Funny really, when I first started growing flowers a few years ago, I hadn’t planned on selling dried flowers. I had worked with dried flowers a long time ago and the choice was quite limited, with most of them being imported. Fast forward ** years and here we are again, dried flowers popular again, much more choice, easily all British/Welsh grown and forming a big chunk of my small business. Fresh flowers will always be my favourites but you can’t deny that dried flowers have their appeal and most certainly fill the flower gap during the winter months …… you won’t hear me complaining.
