I love that I am still learning new things after 20 years in this industry in regards to various customs and faiths. This week I learned that Orthodox Greeks celebrate their loved ones for a period of 40 days following their deaths. During this time, it is believed that the departed wander the Earth, visiting their favorite places, where they have lived, and their final resting place before finally leaving this world. Beautiful and comforting. I hope these centerpieces adorning Yiayia's memorial dinner are as bright and colorful as her family's fond memories of her. May her memory be eternal and may her family live abundant lives.

Despite our delivery van being stranded in today’s meteorologist FAIL, we got all of our flowers to their destinations. Including these seasonal beauties. Let’s hope PennDOT is more prepared for the next one. The roads were atrocious! Hope everyone else faired okay and you’re all home now, safe and snug.
