Happy Mother’s Day! 🤍

I couldn’t let this special day slip by without creating for such important people. It fills my heart to design for any occasion, but especially this one, where we honor and thank the ones who help shape us.
To be called “Mama” is a blessing I will never take for granted. I’m holding space for those longing for that title, for those grieving this Mother’s Day, and all the in between. The miracle is not lost on me.
May each and every one of you feel surrounded by all the love on this beautiful day. ☀️

Fun fact: is not only one of my best friends, but we worked together at the Gooseberry Flower Shop in high school. In fact, she’s the one who got me the job which was very full circle to be surrounded by flowers and her own beautiful creations with her again yesterday. Supporting each other in our crafts; the things that light us up ✨

It’s a beautiful day to visit Oldenburg! Our little town is kicking off the Christmas season with Holidays Under the Spires and it’s become one of my favorite days of the year! There’s just nothing quite like walking through the Holy City, visiting our small shops and restaurants, and feeling the Christmas cheer. I was unable to participate in a pop-up this year so how about a wreath GIVEAWAY ✨🌲✨

Yes, the flowers will eventually fade. But I can promise that the gesture will provide a lasting memory long after. 🌿
I was able to take on a handful of custom orders this weekend and had the privilege of sending out some seriously sweet and inspiring card messages.
Let’s love our people hard. Show up when times are dark as well as when they need to be celebrated. I promise, the smiles I get to see are so so worth it. 🤍

Hello 👋🏻
I thought I would do a little introduction, something I realized I have never really done in this space! Most of you already know us, but for those who don’t, I’d love to give a little insight into who we are!

I’m Tina, the owner and designer of the Village Blume. I started this little side hustle in the spring of 2018, and though it’s had a slow start, I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished and where it’s headed.
Here’s a few fun facts about me:
+ I’m a wife and a mommy above all else. When I say “us” it’s because this business wouldn’t be possible without my husband or our two little boys. Ryan is the one who pushed me to follow this dream and is the one behind the scenes always helping with whatever I need. Our boys are my “why”. I want them to grow up to live a life they’re proud of, and believe we must set that example for them.
+ My husband is a landscaper and we started our own landscaping business in 2019. His creativity, talent, and work ethic inspires me every day. We love getting our hands on nature over here.
+ I work at a dental office part time. I went to school to be an expanded functions dental assistant, and currently work in the front office and handle the billing.
(It’s a lot to balance, and I don’t always do it with grace, but it works for now)
+ I worked at a local flower shop in high school and through some college. It was a dream high school job. It was where my love for fresh flowers truly began. I loved being a part of something that brought people so much joy. Still so thankful for that opportunity.
+ I design the flower arrangements in my home studio (aka kitchen or garage). With that being said, we are not a full service flower shop at the time being and don’t always have flowers on hand unless it’s a special occasion or we’re doing a pop-up shop. I have big plans for this year and intend to be able to offer them much more often than I have been able to in the past! I will always post when I have availability!
