1. Take a moment for yourselves: Amidst the hustle and bustle of the day, it’s important to carve out some time for just the two of you. Find a quiet corner or steal away for a quick walk to pause, reflect, and appreciate the significance of the day. This intimate time together will create cherished memories and allow you to truly soak in the love and joy of your wedding day. As bonus this creates intimate photos from afar, you won’t even know the photographer is there!

One of the biggest concerns from parents during family sessions is, “my kids are wild and will just run around”. 🤪

As a photographer we plan poses during specific phases of your session so we can get those crazy moments where the quirks and personalities shine, but to also photograph those intimate moments. 🥰 Embrace the craziness because when you look back on your photos you will share your child’s crazy stories with them and in the end that’s what makes them unique. ✨

THE OWS 🥹 There are too many favorites to fit all into one post from R & B’s wedding day in Chico.

One of the things I am most thankful for about this job is the friends it brings along the way. Brittany was a bridesmaid in another wedding I photographed and when she inquired for me to be her photographer she, Rob, my husband and myself slowly became friends during the process over dinner one night. 💛

It’s not just about being your photographer but also getting to know you in a more personal level. The more you let personality shine to your photographer the more creative we get throughout the process. ✨

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a sucker for details! 🤩

Here are some items you can keep in a small box for when your photographer arrives:
💍 Rings because you didn't spend all of that money to not show them off eternity.
💌 Invitation suite gives your flatlay that extra glam and we can style so many things just with your invitation! ✨ Perfume and/or cologne because I love smelling what you purchase 😆. In all seriousness every little detail matters!
💐 Florals are essential! You can simply ask your florist to have some loose florals set aside for these details.
💛Sentimental items. These can range anywhere from grandma's jewelry, any heirloom item, special gift, etc.
👠 Heels and/or shoe(s) because why not show off your style!
👛 Jewelry. Any jewelry such as necklaces and earings!

Don Fernando Mendoza Madrigal. English 🇺🇸 Today, May 30, is the 83rd birthday of this craftsmen. A humble human being and important luthier from Coalcomán Michoacán who, through his work, directly and indirectly has made millions of people happy with his instruments. In our time, for many, hearing the words, “that harp, vihuela, or jarana” is from Don Fer’s workshop, is synonymous with a quality instrument; perfect for the regional music of the coastal-sierra and hot land plains of Michoacan. Don Fernando is a good hearted person, a philanthropist of young people with whom he identifies. He sees in them his own desire to learn to play an instrument in his poverty driven youth. Today not only do we celebrate his birthday, we celebrate his family who fully support his craftsmanship so that the notes of his instruments vibrate and resonate throughout the world. Likewise, through don Fernando, luthiers of the region who have passed are also celebrated and whose legacies still live through his craftsmanship. There is no doubt that Don Fernando and sons are living legends within the arpa grande ensembles. As a musician, I hope that there will always be luthiers as good as him so that we can continue to make music. I’d be lying if I said it was easy to find videos of myself in them because almost 100% of them are of my husband 😄 Anywho some things I like to do on my free time is of course spend time with him but also outdoors. ☀️ I enjoy going on hikes and exploring new places or just simply sitting in the sun for a hot minute. 😅 I’m definitely a homebody and enjoy a good morning coffee! I am the type of person that is always up for a good concert and trying new foods.
