The as promised " How my winters going" update.
First of all I'm truly truly humbled by all the messages of support ( and even the messages of abuse ๐..you know who you are ๐ ๐๐ผ)I've had and still receive since i updated everyone as to my current disposition... I'm truly and humbly blown away by the support from you all ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ฌ๐ท๐ค
Anyhooooo....
As many if not all of you are aware I ran Into a few health issues just before the end of the season that totally floored me.
I'm still in mid diagnosis due to the similarity in symptoms and blood markers of what they believe is causing mobility and fatigue problems ( hopefully next weeks next round of blood tests and full organs ultrasound scan will answer a few more questions ๐๐ผ... Oh , I won't dwell on the medication I'm taking or the side effects ๐คฎ๐ด๐ค๐๐)
To be totally honest, I'm struggling with my limb movement in the morning and also with my energy levels and motivation, but I've managed three one hour rehearsal sessions to try and ease myself back onto the proverbial horse.
I'm currently working on some new tracks ( with help from the usual Glasgow studio suspects ๐๐๐ผ) , progress has been slow but productive to the point I've got three at the trial stage ( ones definitely a blast from past..circa 1985 and a catchy one and definitely a one hit wonder ๐๐) and i even managed to get some backing vocals done ๐๐ผ but, I will probably need to make a few tweaks before they'll be ready for human consumption should they pass the rehearsal test, and If not , it's back to the drawing board ๐๐คฃ
So ... for me, the journey continues and here's hoping it's not too much of a bumpy one and I pray that there's a light at the end of the tunnel that I can basque in, and get back to amusing, abusing ( and being heckled and abused ) and entertaining you amazing people who've stood by me from day one when I started this solo journey many years ago as JBV and began the hand clapping, foot tapping , arse shaking hands in the air like you just don't care high octane full on music and fun antics ๐ ๐๐ผ
Now it's time to shut the computer down, switch off the monitor and speakers, put the mic down ๐ค take of the headphones ๐ง rest , refocus and go again tomorrow morning with a clear head and a purpose behind what I do... So watch this space for more rambling insane crazy updates .. until then, we keep on moving when we're down ( thought the song choice for this post was appropriate )๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ช๐ผ๐ฌ๐ท ๐ค
