Sadly for me my summer season 2025, which started in April is over and to be honest it's been a full on high octane six nights a week summer of music and fun antics with a lot of highs where I got to catch up with old amazing friends and followers, and be blessed enough to welcome Into my life new friends and followers who were up for the hand clapping, foot tapping,arse shaking hands in the air like you just don't care music and fun antics ( you know who you are ๐) and the low of ending a week or so earlier due to illness and chronic fatigue ๐
I got to perform a lot of new songs as well as belt out the old classics you just can't drop from the sets and I've loved every single fanf**kintastic moment of it all and as always the pleasure has and will always be mine.
I'd like to wish a heartfelt massive thank you to everyone at The Irish house Stalis and George's Angels, Jan Sereinig , Sophie Angel Sheill and my partner in mischief and madness Holly Noble who for my eighth summer have allowed me the free reign to bring my unique style of music, mayhem and madness to my nights all in the name of entertainment , and I am truly blessed by the friendship , help and support of everyone at the best bar in Stalis ๐
To the fantastic family run Alexandros Hotel Sissi I offer another heartfelt thank you to all the Drakonaki family Garyfalia Drakonaki Maria Drakonaki Panagiota Drakonaki Paul John who once again allowed me to amuse, confuse, abuse, educate and discombobulate but most importantly allowed me to entertain the fantastic people , residents and non residents alike of the best family run hotel in Sissi ..It's been an absolute pleasure to have met and entertained each and every one of you and I humbly thank the family for their continued support of me and what I do ๐๐ฌ๐ท
Next I'd like to thank everyone of the staff and customers at The Central Bar Gouves for what's been a third season of music and madness where I was truly humbled by the support and the heckling ) you definitely know who you are ๐)๐ I've received at every single gig throughout the season without fail ๐ and a big shout out to the boss man Kristo Menga who's friendship and support of me have only been strengthed by his thoughts and actions this season, to the team I send my love and respect to Nici Mar and ฮฮปฯฮตฮณฮบฮน ฮฯฯฯฮฝ who have made me part of the Central Bar family and especially to my dear friend The Barfly Tommy Johns who has been a rock and a true friend throughout my time at the best bar for entertainment in Gouves for his assistance , guidance, heckling and traffic management duties ๐๐๐ผ๐ฌ๐ท๐ค
Big thanks to all the people who booked me for your private unadvertised gigs , the Birthdays, weddings, engagements , blessings etc... You definitely know who you are ๐
Lastly , none of what I do is possible without you ... The JBV followers and friends, you make what I do worth all the blood sweat and tears and long rehearsal hours and days, the tiredness, the adrenaline rushes, the running up and down the bar and the street ๐ , the hand clapping, foot tapping, ass shaking hands in the air like you just don't care music and fun antics wouldn't be the same with out you and i humbly thank you for being a massive part of that through volunteering, whether for the Salsa Train ๐, the YMCA club, the Ska skankfest or whatever mad motion took my fancy on that night ( I've actually given away 660 preciousss JBV keyrings after receiving them at the end of May, now that's good going๐๐ผ ) and for joining in on the full audience participation sections ๐๐๐ผ๐ฌ๐ท๐ค
I hope and pray you all have a fanf**kintastic winter , and that with the love and help of your loved ones, that you're life is truly blessed and all your hopes and dreams come true.
For me the hard work starts now, I'm currently taking a short break to rest and recuperate and to take stock of what's ahead.
I've possibly a big physical and mental challenge ahead of me and I need to get rested and be fighting fit for summer 2026 and all that it brings. There may be changes and adjustments for me moving forward, but I'll take them as they come. I've new tracks to work on and a lot of work to do to get them gig ready before unleashing them on all you mad muddafukers ๐
I'll keep you posted on my progress and as always the usual winter rantings, ravings and casual observations will be on here and the extended version will be in the usual place for those privileged enough to know๐๐๐ผ
