As a wedding planner you end up spending a lot of time with your clients during one of the best years of their lives. We were able to help plan Lorem’s bridal shower and wedding. During that time, we got to know her and her fiancé (now husband) Tony, her parents, her sister and future in-laws. Both families always made us feel trusted, valued and appreciated. We grew close during this past year and now consider them friends. One of our favorite parts of our job is getting to know great people and helping them with such a special, memorable day. We will always remember this family, all the love they shared and how genuine, faithful, kind and special they are. Thank you Lorem, Tony, Claudia and Santino Basile for being the type of people that make this world a better place, and make our difficult jobs worthwhile. You have our love, respect and admiration. Congratulations on the most perfect wedding for a perfect couple and family.

What an unforgettable day at Kristina & Patrick’s wedding! The Philadelphia Mummers kicked off the reception leading out happy couple into such a stunning space. Kristina’s vision came to life beautifully at the Powerplant in Philly. The venue was bursting with vibrant colors and overflowing with love. From the stunning florals to the heartfelt moments, every detail reflected their beautiful journey together. Huge congrats to the happy couple! A special shout out to all the amazing vendors who brought this magical day to life. Here’s to love, laughter and a lifetime of happiness 🥂🍾❤️

This is what it looks like when two people in love are surrounded by love in the City of Brotherly Love. These two had our hearts from the beginning of planning til the end. Still swooning over this spectacular night! Our couple continued to add meaningful details into the late night portion of their wedding, including a beautiful heartfelt toast by our stunning bride . Trucker hats from the groom’s favorite hat company were handed out to each guest before VAVO (who they found together on a trip to Las Vegas) lit up the dance floor with his unique style (YEEDM). The catering team at knocked it out of the park, serving up delicious late night food (including the couple’s favorite gormet popcorn from ) and incredible wine hand picked by the groom. Each and every detail was planned with the couple’s guests in mind to ensure they had the time of their lives. Not only was this night celebrating the love of our couple, but the collective love shared with all of the people who they adore and love in return. Congratulations to and on the best night ever!! Sharing your love with all of your people was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨.

Hello Everyone! 👋

We are Jen and Cait, co-founders of The Joy Standard- an event planning and design company based in NJ, PA & everywhere in between.

A few things about us: #1 We actually found out about @mariekondo after we named our company. Love being on the same page regarding this Joy stuff though! #2 We are sisters, lefties, avid tennis players & margarita lovers #3 We both take the mantra, “live life to the fullest” very seriously. The more parties, the better! We love spending time with those we care about and seeing the happiness that comes from memories being made together. #4 We founded The Joy Standard to help others make their events as joyful as possible. This means less stress, more time enjoying the process and living in the moment.
