Our Story

Blackberry Haven, LLC originally began as a handmade gifts and accessories company in August of 2011. I began to introduce floral design and phasing out the handmade gifts and accessories items after completing the Floral Design program at UL Lafayette in May of 2017. I became a licensed florist in the state of Louisiana in June of 2017.

Floral design is my life’s passion.

A behavioral research study reveals that people feel more compassionate toward others, have less worry and anxiety, and feel less depressed when fresh-cut flowers are present in the home. Flowers feeds compassion, chase away anxiety, worries and blues. Flowers also make the giver happy too.
