No tricks, just treats over here! 🍪🍫

This bride cared more about having all the sweets they liked rather than a traditional wedding cake and we made that happen!

knocked it out of the park with the tiered Rice Krispie cake! Cookies were a hit to grab and keep dancing while also a great way to meet everyone’s dietary needs. There were labels with gluten free, dairy free & gluten free AND dairy free haha. We also had branded mini milks (almond & regular) to have with your cookie or you could order from espresso bar!

We give this out of the norm dessert option a 10/10! It’s a fun part of our job helping our clients think through priorities and desires so we can make those a reality!

I (Dempsey) have had the privilege of having walked with this couple in ministry & attend the same church with them. This song of freedom in Christ and the deliverance of the Gospel brings me to tears as I think of how that changed eternity for them and for many more that will be impacted by their marriage!

The joy in this photo 😍

Six years ago, I (Dempsey) got married on the day that Hurricane Harvey made landfall. As a planner by nature & trade, I of course had a rain plan in place during the entire planning process. But I’d be lying to say it was hurricane proof 😅

There were SO many audibles that had to be made that day. Including this photo of our “party tunnel” exit because the fierce wind & sideways rain wouldn’t allow for a sparkler exit😅

With that, reminding you of ✌🏽 important things:

1) don’t lose sight of the reason behind a wedding day… to be MARRIED to the love of your life! The Lord truly protected me from stressing about the mess of the plans I had worked so hard for and I was able to just soak up being Mike’s bride! It’s something I try to remind each bride on their wedding day. You probably won’t remember if the seating chart sign had to be different than your Pinterest board vision because of wind, but you probably will remember the joy hanging in the room while you were getting ready with your girls, the bliss of seeing your groom for the first time that day and your butterflies settling, the delight of hearing the chatter of all of your favorite people enjoying dinner together while holding your new husband’s hand.

2) your vendor team MATTERS. Like so much. I had full trust in my entire vendor team and was able to relax because I knew that they had my best interest at heart! They wanted the day to run smooth, for us to be married and for the Lord to be glorified. I was able to soak in ALL of those moments I listed above because they took care of ALL the stressful decisions that had to be made. So thankful!

Grateful to God for six years of marriage & for the privilege that it is that I get to walk alongside so many other couples as they enter into it. Such a gift!

Hi there friends, Dempsey here! It has been a minute since I’ve done an introduction so coming to say hi 👋🏽

I am a to-do list lovin’ leader who is passionate about Jesus & the way He gathered and celebrated people. Even as a 7-year old, I had a deep desire to bring people together to celebrate and the drive to make it happen (shout out to my mom for letting her 7-year old plan Christmas). Since then, those innate desires have been refined through receiving my B.B.A. in Sports, Event, and Tourism Management, my M.B.A. in Marketing & Management and valuable experience in the wedding, corporate event & non-profit industries.

When I’m not busy working on creating spaces of celebration for my clients, you can catch me creating spaces of celebration in my own home. Whether that is Friends-Giving with 80 of my “closest” friends or my little family of 4 sitting down with another family in our circle, I truly believe that life is best lived around the table.

I 👏🏽 can’t 👏🏽 wait 👏🏽 for all to come with Water to Wine Hospitality over the next few months that will help equip you to live life around the table with joy, intention and confidence!
