Let’s just Elope and start our forever 🥰
The Wedding Afties: As a photographer, my job is to not just take photos, but to capture the essence of the moment. I had the pleasure of documenting the getting ready and after wedding photos for this engagement party turned surprise wedding. Normally, I strive for perfection in my images - ensuring they are perfectly aligned, evenly lit, and flawlessly composed. However, for the after session, I wanted to push the boundaries and show the playfulness of the occasion….

Also check out the importance of an unplugged wedding you can tell in those I’ll shots that the crowd actually listened and it turned out so well in the photos!
This the real you, This the real me..
The secret is out… I’ve been holding on to this for almost a year 🤭. I basically signed a modified nondisclosure agreement lol. These two gathered all their closest friends and family in Miami Florida for an engagement party which ended up being their actual WEDDING yesterday. I’m so glad I got to not only shoot but attend as a guest. Will post the behind-the-scenes in my stories.
Timeless grace and elegance.
Yes, I love capturing those model-like magazine cover poses… but as of late I’ve been making sure I also capture the joy in each moment. Amid these challenging times, capturing moments of happiness has become even more vital.
Here’s to preserving smiles, laughter, and all the vibrant black joy that will be passed down for generations.
And that’s on
Oh Brooklyn….
Oh nothing Just a bride on her wedding day!
Of course Brooklyn has my heart, but I gotta give it to Harlem for those hidden gems! If you’re wanting to shoot your engagement sessions anywhere in the city weekdays in the morning are the sweet spot.
Everybody’s at work and most restaurants/businesses/touristy spots are slow in the mornings. You can stumble upon some awesome establishments that are cool with you snapping away, as long as you grab a couple of drinks or purchase some items.
It’s like capturing love vibes with a side of NYC charm – can’t beat that combo 😝
This might be the longest train I’ve ever shoot

Shooting a wedding in the vibrant city of San Francisco was an absolute blast! The color theme for this special day was a striking royal red, which added a captivating flair to every shot. From the bride's stunning dress to the red rose bouquets, the whole day felt like a regal affair against the backdrop of this iconic city. I was thrilled when the wedding got featured on Munaluchi Brides' website, a well-deserved recognition for the couple's incredible style and love.
For couples looking to capture great wedding photos, here are a few tips:
1. Choose the right photographer: Find a photographer whose style aligns with your vision and personality. A good connection with your photographer can make a world of difference in capturing genuine moments.
2. Plan your timeline: Allow enough time for photos throughout the day, from getting ready to the reception. A well-organized timeline reduces stress and ensures you get the shots you want.
3. Location scouting: If possible, visit your chosen locations with your photographer ahead of time to identify the best spots for photos and to plan for lighting conditions.
4. Be yourselves: Don't be afraid to show your personalities and emotions. Candid shots often capture the most authentic and heartfelt moments.
5. Communicate your must-haves: Share a shot list with your photographer to make sure all your important moments and family portraits are captured.
6. Trust your photographer: Once you've chosen a professional, trust their expertise. They'll know how to make the most of your day and create beautiful memories that you'll cherish forever.
Remember, the most beautiful photos often come from the genuine emotions and connections between you and your loved ones. Enjoy your day, and let your love shine through….it's the secret ingredient to memorable wedding photos!

From the aisle to a journey of three! Capturing these beautiful images as their love story continues to bloom. Excited to have documented this new chapter for my past wedding clients turned parents ☺️
Diving into the best of both worlds! 📸✨ Our latest engagement session was a captivating blend of behind-the-scenes realness and pure glam. Picture perfect love meets the allure of the studio, all wrapped in elegant black attire. Let me know what you think. Would you try this for your engagement session?
I've got to show you these amazing shots from a previous engagement session at Untermeyer Gardens! Trust me when I say, this place is pure gold for capturing love in its most natural form. The couple's chemistry against the backdrop of those historic buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens was just electric. Untermeyer Gardens offers so many unique spots to explore, and each shot turned out as if we were on the coast of Italy (Lake Como vibes). I can't wait to shoot here again and create more incredible memories for the next couple in love. If you're looking for an engagement session that's all about nature, beauty, and Bridgerton-like backdrops, this place is an absolute must!
From the laughter filled streets to the intimate moments, every shot reflects the genuine connection between these two. SoHo’s artsy backdrop added to their love story, and I couldn’t be happier to share some of these images with you all.
Thank you for the feature. The article will be linked in my stories😝
On this scorching day, this incredible couple turned up the heat even more during their engagement session! 🔥 Despite the blazing sun, their love radiated brightly, and we created some jaw-droppingly beautiful images together. 💑📸✨
Their energy was contagious as they embraced the urban charm of Brooklyn 🏙️💕 And when it came time for a refreshing toast, they popped the champagne and celebrated their journey towards forever! 🍾🥂✨
Im in awe of their resilience and determination to make the most out of this blazing hot day, and I’m thrilled to have captured their love story amidst the city's iconic backdrop. 📸💫
Cheers to this amazing couple, who braved the sun, created magic, and showed us that love truly knows no bounds! 💞✨
6 Reasons Why You Should Consider A Bridal Session.
As a wedding photographer, there are several reasons to recommend a bridal session to your clients:
1) Test run for the bride: A bridal session allows the bride to have a trial run of her hair, makeup, and overall bridal look before the actual wedding day. This gives her a chance to see how everything comes together and make any adjustments if needed.
2) Build rapport with the photographer: A bridal session provides an opportunity for the bride to get comfortable in front of the camera and establish a rapport with the photographer. This helps her feel more relaxed and natural on the wedding day, resulting in better photos.
3) Capture additional portraits: Bridal sessions provide an additional opportunity to capture stunning bridal portraits in a more controlled environment compared to the busy wedding day. This allows the photographer to focus solely on the bride, resulting in beautiful and timeless images.
4) Flexibility with location and time: Unlike the wedding day, which may have time constraints and limitations on locations, a bridal session offers more flexibility in terms of location and time. This allows the photographer to choose the best lighting, backdrops, and settings to create stunning images.
5) More creative freedom: Bridal sessions provide the photographer with more creative freedom to experiment with different poses, angles, and compositions without the time constraints of the wedding day. This allows for more artistic and unique images that may not be possible on the wedding day.
6) Personal keepsake: Bridal sessions result in a collection of images that the bride can cherish as a personal keepsake. These images can be used for bridal portraits, framed prints, or as a part of the wedding album, creating lasting memories for the bride and her family.

1) Watch Out for Crowds: Tourist spots like DUMBO and popular landmarks can get crowded. Schedule your session early in the morning to minimize the number of people in the background. 2) Plan for Transit: If you’re visiting multiple locations, plan your route efficiently to make the most of your time and avoid unnecessary travel delays. Always add in buffet time for unexpected traffic or delays. 3) Be Aware of Permits: Some locations may require permits for professional photography. Check in advance and obtain any necessary permits to avoid any interruptions. 4) Skip heavy makeup experimentation: Stick to makeup that enhances your features naturally, avoiding drastic changes that might not photograph well. 5) Steer clear of matching outfits too closely: While coordination is great, avoid overly matching outfits that may look unnatural in photos. Bonus (becuae I love y’all): Don’t stress about perfection: Embrace the imperfections and enjoy the moment rather than striving for unrealistic perfection. #temilolaphoto
