Founded from a love of costuming by Japanese culture enthusiasts, Neo Nippon has evolved into a one-of-a-kind kimono shop for the 21st century! As collectors and connoisseurs of all things related to Japan prior to the arrival of Western influence, we pride ourselves in respecting the traditions of centuries of cultural and artistic evolution of the nation. Trained and certified to dress kimono in

the 'proper' fashion, we strive to give a look that appreciates the rich history of this garment. However, we know that the art of wearing kimono is one that is slowly dying. To help do our part in 'keeping kimono alive' we have followed a concept as indigenous to Japan as kimono itself: Adaptation. By expanding beyond the traditions of kimono, but without forsaking them, we work to keep authentic kimono relevant in the modern era. We accomplish this by not only educating people about the history of Japanese attire and how to dress themselves properly, but also by incorporating modern fashion and individual tastes tastes, from the most casual to the most formal of styles.
