The sun may be missing from August, but the BBQs are not 😋 this was Saturday's set up ready for an afternoon of BBQ food, beer and cocktails to celebrate an 80th Birthday 🎉

Had my eye on one of these projector screens for a while and what better excuse to purchase one than for the !! ⚽🤩

Took some time off this weekend and went camping with the family - I couldn't resist cooking a feast for us all 😋

It's good to be able to have beer in a pub again! This was from my lockdown birthday a couple of months ago, when we still wasn't allowed to go to pubs 😭 so I treated myself by setting up one of my beer pumps at home 😍 can't beat a proper draught beer!! 🍺
An impromtu barbecue on a weeknight 😍 I love cooking outside this time of year!
It was a year ago, during lockdown 1.0, that I made my first ever batch of doughnuts 🍩🍩😋😋

Leftovers lunch! With some leftover mozzarella from pizza night in the fridge, I thought I'd use it up to make a quick and simple lunch. What have you recently made with a few fridge leftovers?
Always wanted to cook a Louisiana-style crayfish boil 🇺🇸 however crayfish is hard to come by in the UK, so I made my own version with tiger prawns instead 🦐
This cajun seafood dish was messy, yummy and I definitely recommend, especially as it's easy to cook too!! 👨🏻🍳
PIZZA NIGHT! Good to finally be able to invite friends and family over to the garden and make use of my new outdoor kitchen (work in progress 👷)
My chef's hat was replaced by a wooly hat ❄️ anyone else disappointed it's so cold at the moment?! Bring on the sunshine and BBQ weather!!! 😎
Saturday Night Treat 🍴 Confit of duck on a mushroom and spring onion pearl barley risotto, with a carrot puree, topped with port and plum reduction and parsnip chips
Glad that the lockdown restrictions have eased so I could do a little something for today ☕🍰🥂
