Early Life and Education:
Himu was born on 18 December, 1982 in Shantinagar, Dhaka. Taher, civil engineer and Hasina Taher, civil engineer and Hasina Akhtar. His early childhood was in Chittagong. After moving to Dhaka he finished his school life from Rampura Ekramunnesa School. In 1999 Himu passed HSC from Notredame College, Dhaka and completed his Graduation and post-graduation from Dhaka Unive
rsity. Since Himu is living in Kalabagan for many years, his permanent address is Ashulia, Tongi. Music Life:
Himu's musical inspiration was his mother. The long musical journey was started by learning Nazrul Sangeet from early childhood. Then he learned playing guitar from his brothers. He was a former bass player. In 1999 he started working with DJ Mishu as his assistant in many clubs like Dutch club, Fu wang Club. As a professional DJ he worked in Canadian Club, Pilipino Community Club, Srilankan Club & lots of private parties. In the meantime he has started his broadcast sound engineering career with Ntv from 2001. After that he went to CSB News, Jamuna Television and now he is working in Channel 24, as music producer, chief sound engineer and studio manager. DJ Himu is the official DJ of Nandan Park since 2008. Besides, he developed his DJ career with the tag line by the famous event “Rock with DJ Himu”. His favorite music genre is House & Hip Hop but he is also popular for Retro songs. He worked as an official DJ of Fu Wang Club & organized lots of parties in Hotel Sarina, Banani. He has more than 300 Club party organizing experience. Some of His popular parties were “Dance with DJ Himu” “Impressive night”. Himu completed a special Sound Engineering Diploma course from the School of Yamaha.
