THE REAL BOSS - ANNABELLE

The driving force behind the business - Annabelle has complex and profound health needs which led to Rachel & Cara not returning to the jobs they had before she was born due to the level of care she needs.

Thanks to your support and orders, Dom & Geri gives us the flexibility to be able to work & provide the care Annabelle requires.

On those occasions where we might take slightly longer to reply to messages or emails - it is always because The Boss is calling the shots!

Some fun facts about Annabelle - she loves dancing and singing, her favourite food is chocolate mousse and she loves being at school with her friends.

Here's Nichola - long standing friend and co-worker of Rachel.

Their friendship was forged when they both worked for Rachel's dad.

Nichola is a busy Mum (or Mam as she would say!), of two who works part time at Dom & Geri printing and packing your orders.

Growing up she wanted to be a police dog handler and she can do a quacking Donald Duck impression.

Always annoyingly positive and with a glass that's always half full - normally of prosecco!

This is Cara - owner and brains behind Dom and Geri.

Born & raised in the Yorkshire Dales. Growing up in a lively house with her 3 sisters, from a young age Cara aspired to be a PE teacher due to her passion for hockey and being a loyal Burnley Football Club fan.

Cara went on to have a career in Events & Marketing before taking over Dom & Geri in 2020.

Some fun facts about Cara - she loves ham and would eat it for every meal, she can’t touch her toes and she is an amazing mummy to her little girl, Annabelle.

MEET THE GUEST OF HONOUR ~ ANNABELLE 👸🏻

Last month Annabelle was invited as guest of honour to cut the ribbon to reopen the children and young people's sensory garden at James Cook Hospital.

This is a beautiful space on the Critical Care ward and was created by their paediatric staff, patients, families and volunteers to give a safe, secluded place to visit during admissions. It is a peaceful spot and we hope it will give all users a little breathe of fresh air from hospital life.

The mosaics were made by local artists Helen Gaun and Derek Mosey who have held workshops at the hospital throughout the year for everyone to get involved in their creation and provide district sensory experiences to everyone visiting the garden. We attended in December hence our lovely festive Christmas Jumpers! 🎅🏻

Saltburn Countryside Volunteers and Serco also joined in repurposing the garden and their collective hard work and dedication is already putting a smile on the faces of our staff and patients.

How we use our products. ✨

We wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at James Cook on Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) who have looked after our daughter, Annabelle over the past year and more recently for a period in the past month.

We love Finch Bakery brownies and knew they would give them all a boost on their long shifts, I think the two boxes didn't last a day! 😋

✨COMPETITION WINNER✨

We recently donated a gift voucher to a local fundraiser raffle, with all proceeds being split between Saltburn Skate Park, Rachel’s Great North Run for Zoes Place and Hope Animal Centre.

The lucky winner asked us to design three bespoke personalised banners for her Brother’s Barbers 30 year anniversary. Clip Joint is a local barbers, and we think they look pretty amazing, don’t you?

These banners are medium sized and have been specially designed by us. They aren’t currently available on our website.

As we do everything in house, we are able to sometimes be a little flexible. If you don’t happen to see something that you like on our website, please do not hesitate to contact us.
