Willman Morcillo’s World Music Experience performs on Saturday, July 20, 4:30pm PDT

Willman Morcillo’s musical journey started in his hometown and mecca of salsa music and dancing, Cali, Colombia. Raised on the magical sounds and vibrant spirit of Latin music, his love of guitar would eventually lead him to Led Zeppelin and other big sounding guitar power bands.

Rumba Flamenco would be his next spiritual / musical journey and combined with his hard rock and metal roots, he started to fashion his own unique sound into what he calls, “a fiery fusion of World/Latin/Rock/Pop and Dance. Whatever the weather, the musical temperature is guaranteed to be hot.

They are: July 27, August 10, and August 24. These will almost assuredly be booked by the beginning of June so if you’re thinking about, GO FOR IT.

Here’s a breakdown:
- we’ll be kicking off our summer shows with two venues that we ROCKED last year. The Levitt AMP Series on Thursday, in a beautiful, classic-Americana park. The next day is at a lovely small venue with dinner included and so forth, Music At The Moon in Guthrie. Clinton is 1 hour east of Oklahoma City, and Guthrie is about a half hour northeast of OKC.

- then a quick one day visit to Colorado Springs for a concert then yummy dinner at Hacienda (because priorities).

- We’ll be playing in Quartz Hill with the full Incendio quartet for the first time since we started doing these LA County park concerts (for the PAD - Parks After Dark) LA County series. We are also playing Loma Alta in Altadena for the first time as afull quartet.

- We’ll be doing our first full quartet Northern California shows in quite a few years. Colusa is near Chico where we have done so many wonderful shows at the Chico Worldfest (thanks Dan DeWayne) and also the Chico Christmas Faire. Then onto Nevada City at the Odd Fellows Hall. Boy did we do so many shows out there (and in Auburn) back in the day.

- we will be playing with the mighty Ardeshir Farah in two late summer shows: Spaghettini in Seal Beach and Full Moon Saturdays in Pasadena, where we recorded those two videos last year. Get your tix for both soon!!
