And just like that, my 2024 wedding season is wrapped! I finished the year with Madison and Stephen last weekend, and it was such a fun wedding to end on.

There's no rest for the wicked, as my first 2025 wedding is just in a couple of weeks 🤯

Hope and Kolby are such a fantastic and fun couple! Their wedding day at Besler's Cadillac Ranch is one of my personal favorites I've gotten to be a part of, and being able to capture their special day and getting to know them was truly such a privilege.

"My most beautiful achievement will have been the actions of this day."

I couldn't find evidence of any other people who got married at the summit of Little Devils Tower, so I think Shalana and Spencer made some history with their elopement.

After dating for four and a half of years and starting to plan a regular wedding after they got engaged, these two decided to say "to heck with it", and just elope instead. They really love hiking and South Dakota's Black Hills, so why not hike up one of the best trails in Custer State Park and just do the dang thing up there?

This hike is one of my personal favorites, so when these two first reached out to me and said they were considering Little Devils Tower as their elopement spot, I got so freaking pumped. It was everything I thought it would be and more. The hike up with them was so much fun, and I learned I can successfully haul up a couple of cameras, a tripod, and drone with me over almost any terrain.

This elopement video will always have a special place in my heart, and I'm forever thankful to Spencer and Shalana for allowing me and Katie Mary Photography - Rapid City SD to capture this epic adventure of a wedding.

Katie and I have been fortunate to work with so many amazing couples since we've started offering this discount! And that trend is going to continue well into next year, as half of my 2025 weddings so far are with couples who have booked us together.

Ignore the older photo when my hair was shorter. We know we're overdue for updated pics 😅

It has been 2.5 years since we started combining services to offer couples a combo package - needless to say, we don’t look like this anymore 🤣

Miranda and Josh had the biggest smiles on their faces for the entirety of this shoot with me and Katie Mary Photography - Rapid City SD, and it was so much fun sitting down and hearing them share their love story. Their wedding next June at Diamond Spur Events Center is going to be amazing to be a part of, as long as Miranda lets Josh have his Ice Cream Bar 🍦
