Miranda & Josh Pre-Wedding Film
Miranda and Josh had the biggest smiles on their faces for the entirety of this shoot with me and Katie Mary Photography - Rapid City SD, and it was so much fun sitting down and hearing them share their love story. Their wedding next June at Diamond Spur Events Center is going to be amazing to be a part of, as long as Miranda lets Josh have his Ice Cream Bar 🍦
I got to hang out with Cheyenne and Craig before their wedding this November, and it was so much fun sitting down and hearing their love story! Also, I never get to complain when I get to do something like fly my drone when they ride their horses 🐴🚁

Katelyn & Alex Wedding Film Sneak Peek
I filmed Katelyn's sister's wedding a few years ago, and I was so honored and excited when she reached out asking if I could film hers as well. Despite it being on the hotter side of things, last Friday was the best time celebrating Katelyn and Alex's big day! Check out this sneak peek.

I'm back! Or, as back as I can be with my 3-week old son's somewhat predictable feeding schedule, and less unpredictable pooping schedule.

Kerrey + Tristen. Pre-Wedding Film.
This pre-wedding video shoot with Kerrey and Tristen was everything.
First, when we were talking about where we can potentially go, Tristen suggested Eleven Hour Gulch in Spearfish Canyon, because that was where he proposed. I was sold.
Then, Kerrey had the idea to have a picnic with champagne and charcuterie. Sign me up.
But these guys didn't *entirely* do my job for me in the planning process. I wanted to get some details on their story, and also try something new. I had them sit down to talk about and reflect on their relationship to each other, instead of to me in a more "formal" interview setting like I've done in the past. That exceeded my wildest expectations, so guess what I'm going to be doing with all of my couples on their pre-wedding video shoots from now on ;)
In addition to all of that, I didn't have to do much in the way of directing, and I couldn't be happier without everything turned out. The most I had to say was, "ok, now go stand or sit down over there", and they were off to the freaking races. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, and the vibes were on point.
Oh yeah, as a cherry on top, Tristen not only recorded the proposal, but they also got the reaction to telling their families they were engaged on video, and I got to use all of that footage. I'm living my best life over here thanks to these two. Based on how perfectly everything went, their wedding this September at is going to be something else.

It's funny because I don't have to file a claim and find out how good my business insurance is.
From Kerrey and Tristen's pre-wedding video shoot.
Before I sent Peyton and Nathan their wedding film, I asked them if they would be comfortable recording a reaction video as they watched it for the first time. I've never asked one of my couples to do this before, so I wasn't sure if they would go for it, but I'm so glad they did.
It was amazing seeing them relive their wedding day for the first time, and I'll probably be asking couples to do this again going forward #sorrynotsorry
Peyton & Nathan
"An American marrying a Canadian, officiated by some random guy they found at a martini bar in Jamaica."
I couldn't have asked for a better wedding, and more importantly, a better couple to start off my slate of 2024 weddings with, even with monsoon level rains soaking everyone to the bone.
It was truly an honor to be able to capture and witness Peyton and Nathan's love in person. This day was full of sweet and emotional moments, along with plenty of laughs and tears.
I also have to give a shoutout to my man, Nathan. He put together a video of clips from their travels that he played at their wedding, and he was kind enough to pass that video along to me to use as a part of their film. That's such an amazing personal touch, so I'll definitely be hounding my couples for any videos they have going forward 😜
Peyton & Nathan Wedding Film Sneak Peek
It's the classic tale of a boy from North Carolina meeting a Canadian girl online, and falling in love. Peyton and Nathan have an incredible story already, and I know their marriage has so many more adventures waiting for them.
Their wedding day was an adventure in itself! From monsoon rains to a journey in the Badlands, trying to figure out what to put in this short teaser was no small task.
I'm very excited to see their full film come together.
