Another two venues will be attending on Sunday. Kettering Arts Centre offer comedy, theatre, music, art and cinema events as well as large community events. We are about to complete on a large redevelopment project to make the church accessible and warm for the next generation. Dating from 1200 and with a huge history Prebendal Manor is open to pre-booked visits. On display will be hands-on artefacts from the archaeological excavations of the Prebendal Manor and Tithe Barn Museum Kettering Arts Centre

Two more attractions attending are:
78 Derngate, Northampton which was designed and remodelled by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1916. 78 Derngate was the architect's final major commission; for his visionary patron, Northampton model engineer, W.J Bassett-Lowke. It is the only place outside Scotland in which Mackintosh's architectural and interior style can be seen in their original setting.

Masque Theatre is one of Northampton’s most vibrant and longest-established community theatre groups. Each year, Masque Theatre usually stages six or seven shows which are performed at various venues around Northampton including The Playhouse Theatre on Clare Street and The Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Sheep Street. Their annual summer open-air production, in the historic setting of the courtyard of Abington Park Museum, is a much-loved Northampton tradition.

Northamptonshire Family History Society will have their bookstall with over 250 memorial inscription and other booklets available. They will have volunteers on hand to give advice and help.

U3A Kettering is a charity and part of the national Third Age Trust. They have various interest groups and for the Heritage Fair are focussing on their Family History Group. More information can be found on the family History link on www.u3akettering.co.uk

Northamptonshire Archaeological Society publishes the county archaeological journal, Northamptonshire Archaeology, and arranges public lectures and site visits. They will have back copies of the journal for sale, and a supply of membership forms. NIAG holds monthly meetings to promote Northamptonshire industrial history including the shoe trade, iron ore quarrying and smelting along with the transport network of canals, railways and roads. Corby Heritage Centre will have exhibits from the Roman Villa at Weldon along with a diorama showing what the villa would have looked liked showing Corby has a long history. Cornerstone, in the heart of Kettering town centre, is the exciting home of Kettering Library, Alfred East Gallery, Manor House Museum, and the Manor House Gardens (currently closed). We will have some exhibits and paintings on display. Come and chat to us about the history of these two towns. Sleipnir Creations are based in Corby. Their mission is to provide vital services to enrich the community in historical education, wellbeing, mental health, arts and crafts. They have a strong partnership with Vikings of Mercia who support them in regard to historical educational events. Wicksteed Park will be showcasing their year round heritage offering plus community programmes and volunteering opportunities. They will have a handling collection from their archives.
Northants & Rutland Open Studios (NROS) is an artist network covering those counties. They run exhibitions and events, including an annual September Festival. Come and find out more!
