Thank you so much for all the love on my Mothers Day reel! Here are a few photos and close ups.

I loved hand painting the daisies on my backdrop board, huge thank you to for all the tips and giving me the confidence to try something new. I look forward to attending your workshop soon and learning more painting skills to incorporate within my displays and offer something different to my clients.

I was thrilled when asked me if I would like to use one of my floral arrangements on her cake stand at open day yesterday!

We’ve been exchanging inspo pics for a while now and both have a keen interest in exploring food within our displays, so it made sense to take this opportunity and delve into that concept to create a unique arrangement that complimented Elif’s stunning cakes.

I’ve worked with Elif on many occasions so I know her cakes are phenomenal and of course once again, she did not disappoint. A meadow of flowers adorned her cakes and my floral arrangements sat perfectly next to them, epitomising the dreamy Cambridge countryside.

The bouquet I made was a recreation of breathtaking masterpiece, (last pic). I’m in awe of her work, I love the simplicity and how she manipulates florals to create delicate shapes and formations.

I’m looking forward to working with Elif on more projects in the future, thinking outside the box, pushing boundaries and offering our clients something extraordinary.

✽ International Woman’s Day ✽

I had the pleasure of creating this display and tablescape for the International Women’s Day Brunch today, so I decided to explore the concept of food within the set up again. Creating sculptural art with fruit and vegetables is something I’m really enjoying at the moment. What made this particular event interesting is that I got to attend myself and listen to people’s reactions to the displays. I love how it’s such a thought provoking subject and how intrigued people are, from joyfully noticing one piece of fruit/vegetable, to another and another.

Stills of Eden’s Christening display! I’ve been so excited planning this event and I was so pleased when my lovely client was on board with me exploring the relationship between food and art!

It was also a breath of fresh air when discussing the brief with who was on the same page and just as excited to create an abstract cake that complimented the theme.

Incorporating florals and food into a display is a major trend this year and creates a super luxe element, I can’t wait to continue experimenting with this concept! 🫶🍐🥦🍇🍋‍🟩💚
