Would you guess as I was creating this to share my 13 month old was sitting on my lap trying to steal my glasses? Okay, maybe that’s not too hard to believe. But it’s still really cute.

I haven’t shared near enough from all the weddings I’ve assisted with this year so far but it’s been such a fun wedding season, with just a few left!

I adore second shooting for , seriously the most bubbly energetic and sweet lead you’ll find in Northeast Ohio!

After weeks of planning and day dreaming this session, and moving for one gloomy day, we got exactly what we were going for. Cannot wait for this little girl to make her debut and meet her forever bestie - aka, my little lady.

When I see opportunities to support causes or missions, I always want to know who is directly being supported. An educated gifting, I guess you could call it.

These two + their son are the faces of who the donations will be benefiting. Let me tell you; their love for each other and their son doesn’t compare to their love for God. They have been missionaries in Costa Rica and now are a wonderful part of our church. Thankful to know them is an understatement.

Completely unrelated; in my non-expert opinion, if you find a coffee place that makes iced coffee so well that if you have to save it for the next morning in the fridge and it still tastes good and isn’t watered down….. then you’ve found a gem. Thank you for being that coffee place! * I don’t frequent coffee locations often (gift card was very sweet this time), but when I do I sound ridiculous ordering because I don’t understand coffee lingo 😂

Now that it’s summer, you’ll find me wandering around outside weeding or watching plants grow. We tripled the size of our garden this year 😆 My MIL also gave me Dahlias to grow and they’re coming along nicely; mildly obsessed lol usually a couple of the kids are in tow getting dirty!

We aren’t a crunchy family, but we’re homesteaders so take that as you’d like to 🤔😊 right now majority of our yard/property is planted as soybeans! We’re in the process of creating a farm name to operate under.

I get annoyed when we have to buy bread products cause that means I was too busy to make it myself. I get excited watching my kiddos grow almost as quickly as my garden. But through it all I deeply love how I fall more for my hubby with each passing year. 4.5 years of marriage and 7 years total under our belts feels so short and yet so much has happened.

Now do you see why I’m excited about the flower mini sessions?! I’m doing my bestie’s maternity session there and we’re both super pumped.

Flower Mini’s are live! Dates are within the first two weeks of August. (See link) Before I dig into the nitty gritty details; there’s a really exciting aspect! This year, 25% of every session booked will be donated to a family at my church that is going through the steps to adopt a baby 🥹🤍 Adoption has always had a special spot in my heart; several of my closest friends and family have been adopted and I’m so thankful they’re in my life.

These two fluffy pups have matured since I did their parents wedding photos and have graduated to be big fur sibs and they’re so ready! Only a couple months till I get to meet their little brother!
You know how watching a groom at a wedding as his bride comes down is really special? Watching a new dad with his first born might top that. Maybe a few less tears but to watch them be strong and protective but handle their bundles with so much care is just a beautiful moment.
I finally get to play catch up from the last couple of months! Whenever I do an extended family session, I swear it’s like having multiple minis and then some. It’s so fun capturing this sweet family; so much love and excitement. What else do you expect with a family of 6 sisters??

As my little family quickly approaches our little wildflower’s first birthday I had to take a minute to thank K'n'J Bakery for making this gorgeous smash cake! It was thoroughly enjoyed and mama is very content munching on the left overs. I always said my grandma made the best cakes and Jess is the one baker I can trust to make a cake that tastes just like hers. Ugh. So good!
They’ve got two fur babies and are adding a little man in just a few months! 🩵 Baby Boy is going to be so loved and protected by his brother and sister, I just love seeing pups welcome babies into their family as part of their pack.
Even when you might long for your home; finding your home in your family that God brought together, creates an even stronger bond.

This session was another one that humbled me. I’m not just taking “pretty pictures” but truly capturing moments that are pivotal in your life. Freezing time when it isn’t slowing down. Finding joy in times when there’s concern or stress. Thankful for the talent God allows me to share 🤍
This couple was straight out of fairytale! Absolutely loved walking through the gardens with them soaking in the surprise sunshine.

Whenever I take your photos - I am aware they’ll be shared. But this sweet couple is having their wedding in India and knowing my work will be shared around the world is kinda crazy! Such a blessing when clients trust me with my art to capture them at such pivotal moments in their lives.
Take a large family with lots of energy filled little ones + a small town mama who happens to love families and photography - and you get a successful family session in Cleveland! It’s rarely uneventful for me to drive into the city, I immediately breath a sigh of relief when I hit Route 10 knowing I’m almost back to the country 😂 but to say I’m thankful for wonderful clients that make the trip into the city worth it - is an understatement.

It’s been about a year since I did a product shoot. Let me just say - this is only the start with this business - - and I’m having a blast! I enjoy working alongside brands/businesses I support outside of doing work with them. I’m slowly detoxifying products in our home as I learn more and see what fits our budget. So far we are food dye free and aluminum free! It hasn’t been easy with pricing rising, but I’ve been swapping out some store bought baked goods and making them from scratch to balance out spending a little more on cleaner products.
Delivering galleries are a whole bundle of emotions for me as your photographer! I’m excited {for you to see them!}, anxious {that you like them}, relieved {because they’re done} and sad {because my job is done} 🤍🙈
The beauty of bringing another blessing into your family is watching all the firsts again. The hardship is realizing it goes faster with each one.
Three years ago they weren’t husband and wife yet. They were just engaged med students. Now they’re married and MOM AND DAD 🎉🤍 It’s been such a blessing to be along for their adventures 🤍 Welcome to a very loving family little man!

Stories. That’s another one of my favorite parts of wedding days. We, as the photographers, don’t always know a lot about the couple or their families. Throughout the day we get to hear stories about how their relationship started. Sometimes it’s been a quick trot to the alter and sometimes the couple has waited years for one another. I love looking back at every couple and remembering stories from their day 🤍

Unpopular opinion: the ring exchange might be my favorite part of the ceremony (more than the first kiss or first look)…… sometimes there’s laughter, sometimes there’s tears, but in the end it’s a physical symbol of a never ending love 🤍💍

If you’ve been considering getting a family, newborn, or any other session done with me, I thought I’d give a little schedule alert. Starting in May through July I only have two Saturdays a month open. And I use Sundays as rain dates so those are basically closed.
Also this year, I’ll be doing floral mini’s in Nova,OH like I did last year so keep an eye out for those.
One last thing; starting this year, all sessions will be an hour long outside of designated Mini’s. (Newborns/Fresh 48 are flexible still)
It’s been a hot minute since I shared any wedding content! I have some gems from assisting my two best gals last year I’m going to share. What should I really be doing?… thanks for asking 😂 I should be baking bread and biscuits butttt here we are.

On my personal account I just posted a sappy mom blurb because we now officially have an 8 and 2 year old and our youngest will be 1 before we are ready for it. My dad always teases me about having birthday parties planned 6 months in advanced but in reality … it feels like mere days. Just trying to soak in the everyday sweet (and learning how to love the not so sweet) moments to fill up my mama heart.
