#protip All of my chalkboard signs are done by hand on actual chalkboard with actual chalk 😅 But sometimes I lay out my ideas and digitally pre-design on my tablet till I get the right look I want, then redo the whole thing by hand on the chalkboard sign. 😁✌️

Slightly annoyed that the gnarly cold I dealt with during the holidays has come back. But instead of staying annoyed I got into the Word and landed on chapter 5 of Mark, and this particular healing-verse-thirty-four stopped me in my stuffed-nose tracks lol. And I'm not trying to compare my little cold to the 12-year suffering of the woman in chapter 5, but I'm grateful that any prayers - big or small - are heard by Jesus and our sweet faith can make us "well" in any situation. So I painted on this page of my new interleaved bible but I didn't write the last part of verse 34 where Jesus said," And go in peace...." and after some cross-reference checking I found out it literally means "Go into peace," which in other words is saying we go into the peace of God that comes with trusting Him in all circumstances. Anyway, I feel much better after painting in and getting into God's word today.... that and Tylenol severe cold/flu medicine is reeeeally awesome when you don't wanna feel crappy during a cold lol.

On Wednesday I dropped off the last of my Christmas orders at the post office and now that I can breathe a bit haha, I can finally have time to share some of the custom orders I had the privilege of creating. This particular wood burn project is one of my proudest, just because of the beautiful words I was honored to hand write and then burn- this gorgeous wedding prayer that was part of a couple's most special day 💕
