East Greenland is the epitome of remote. Inhabited by a tiny handful of Inuit scattered across a very few remote villages, the coastline here is only accessible for a few months a year when the sea-ice melts and reveals a labyrinth of iceberg-packed Fjords alongside huge glaciers tumbling into the sea. Behind them, jagged peaks stretch as far as the eye can see and then in the distance, the Greenland icecap looms for 1000s of km. The silence and peace of the place is matched only by its rugged beauty.

The scale of everything is unbelievable. Wildlife is abundant too, with the waters full of whales of all descriptions. Of course, the King of the Arctic, the mighty polar bear, is never far away too.

This trip is an utterly unique and totally expeditionary undertaking, comprising a kayak-based journey through the icebergs of the East Greenland Fjord system to reach vast hidden glaciers which the team will attempt to traverse in a self-contained trekking phase. This truly is a humbling experience beyond any other adventure we have ever offered.

11 days packed full of epic adventure, our latest Test Pilot was a belter!

Our Test Pilot's top highlights?
- Kicking off the trip with a ferry crossing from Punta Arenas to Porvenir where there was an abundance of incredible birdlife
- Spectacular mountain passes with panoramic views across the snow-capped Andes
- Crossing the Paso Boquedano and Paso Garibaldi

- Endless stunning landscape and river valleys with SO many Guanaco!

Our are almost at the end of their incredible Guatemalan Sea to Summit adventure. They’ve cycled for 3 days from the Pacific coast through the vibrant and welcoming jungle and small towns of this amazing country.

The locals have cheered them on and welcomed them with open arms as they’ve racked up 2780m of elevation in the past 3 days over 127km. But they are far from done. Now they will hike to the summit of the biggest mountain in Central America: Tajumulco. Standing at 4203m the climb is far from over.

After an early breakfast our 2024 participants will transfer to the trailhead for Acatenango. Here they will begin their acclimatisation trek in preparation for Tajumulco later on in the week with a climb up to 2600m to our campsite for the night. As campsites go, this one is right up there, as it is in clear sight of one of the most spectacular things anyone will ever see, the erupting live volcano, Volcán de Fuego.

Glacier to Glacier 2024 complete! Well done 🙌

The past 6 days this intrepid group have covered over 130 miles on foot, bike and kayak through these wild and extraordinary Patagonian landscapes. They've got up close and personal with the towering mountains, including the mighty Mount Fitzroy and have been astounded by the sheer size glaciers they've encountered as they made there way from the beautiful mountain town of El Chalten all the way to one of the most epic finish lines in the Rat Race portfolio, the Perito Moreno Glacier 😍

It's SO good to be back!

We are completely in love with this part of the World! Patagonia is made for epic adventures and our Glacier to Glacier participants are currently smashing out the miles through these stunning landscapes 😍 Take a sneak peek at their experience so far in the pictures below...

39 adventures down, 3 to go! We're ending the year on a huge high as the team touch down in Patagonia ready for another 6 days of back-to-back adventure in this dream destination, surrounded by towering mountains and gigantic glaciers 😍

Following on from Patagonia Glacier to Glacier we're heading South to Tierra Del Fuego for a brand new Test Pilot in one of the wildest places on Earth, where our hardy Test Pilots will be journeying by foot, bike and raft to 'the end of the world'.

Finally, we're concluding the year with the first ever outing of Guatemala Sea to Summit. 30 will be heading for the highest point in the whole of Central America through the jungle, but not until they've kicked off their trip with an acclimatisation trek, where they will witness one of the most dramatic sights they've ever seen; the spewing lava of active volcano Acatenango. We cannot wait! 🙌
