We’re taking advantage of a LOCAL vending opportunity to do a bit of a clear out! In addition to the usual fit samples for corset ordering, patterns, kits, busks, etc, we will also have a bunch of misc sewing supplies and tools at great prices at Costume-Con 42: Heart of Gold this weekend.

We will have our full range of fit samples and all corset orders placed with us at the event are eligible for free fashion fabric upgrades (subject to fabric availability) and free shipping. Plus, we’ll have the full range of patterns, kits, supplies, AND some studio destash goodies like books, trims, fabrics, costume accessories and tools.

Well, downtown looks rather like this today! Just with very different modes of transport. Much of Colorado is experiencing a big winter storm. We didn’t get orders out today, but they’ll ship tomorrow. At least we didn’t get 4 FEET like some of the mountain towns!

Snowy Saturday studio views. We’re finally done with fit samples for our upcoming trunk shows in VA and PA!

We’re busy sewing away on fit samples for our upcoming East coast trunk shows! Here’s how we sew the channels on some of our stomachers with only ONE full stop and start.

Surprise! In the interest of fighting off the winter blues and using up some of the (really overwhelming) amount of remnants and scraps in the studio, we’ve made some more “scrap corsets.” Listing notes if we’re able to make one in another size or not. In most cases we chose the to make the size that would best utilize the scrap. Check back later this week and next for more!

Introducing a new, historically inspired shape perfect for historybounding, renfair visits, and special occasions (like a romp in the woods!). Made up in a lovely ivory cotton with evergreen toile print. Black sateen binding and black ribbon and grommets set off the print. Steel boned, white twill lining.We have a limited amount of this fashion fabric, and once it’s gone, it’s gone! 5% of sales of this style will go to Wildlands Restoration Volunteers to help protect our local wild lands. http s://redthreaded.com/products/evergreen-fashion-stays-limited-edition

The Evergreen Fashion Stays feature a new, historically inspired shape perfect for historybounding, renfair visits, and special occasions (like a romp in the woods!). In recognition of today being Indigenous Peoples' Day, 5% of sales of this style will go to Wildlands Restoration Volunteers to help protect our local wild lands through stewardship methods rooted in indigenous practices.

Redthreaded is a small costume business based near Boulder, CO. Founded by Cynthia Settje in 2009, we specialize in high quality historically inspired corsets and custom theatrical work. Our work is divided into two different focuses: direct retail sales of in-stock and custom corsetry for individuals, and larger scale contracts for theatrical productions. Our clients range from Broadway and TV to individual historical costume enthusiasts.
