Anita Savage has made the Final Table of the 2023 WPT Prime Gold Coast Main Event. She is playing for a prize up top of $AUD358,453* of which is included Ta seat into the 2023 WPT World Championship, valued at $AUD16,500. Also if Anita finishes in the top 2 today, she will also take the lead in the Player Of The Festival race.
I'll post a link shortly to the livestream (delayed by 30min) of the Final Table.

It's been a bit quiet on the WPT news boards but the player ticker is still on 10 / 1224 so I'm assuming hand for hand play is still happening as we play out the final table bubble. $AUD35847 for the next person eliminated in the 2023 WPT Prime Gold Coast Main Event.

From what I've seen on the internet grapevine (thanks Renae Baker). Anita has been down to 2BB and back since her run out straight with 10-10. According to the WPT page she is down to 10BB but has also locked up $AUD28,504 with the elimination of Po Wen Fang.

Blinds have just gone up at the WPT Prime Gold Coast with 13 runners remaining. Kawerau's Anita Savage is still in there with around 14BB where the average is 28BB. We will be staying here as long as Anita stays in this game.

Ladder up for BOP's Anita Savage at the WPT Prime Gold Coast as 2022 WPT Montreal Online Main Event Champion Jack Hardcastle gets knocked out in 15th place. $22,910 locked up.

BOP represent!! How exciting for Kawerau's very own Anita Savage to wake up this morning and find herself in the final 16 of The WPT Prime Gold Coast Main Event.
Anita has locked up $AUD18,615 in this event but she's not the shortest stack and there is still a ways to go for her to ladder further.
Having already bundled up a trophy this series in the 15/15 PLO Event on Friday, Anita is one of two players in this tournament who are looking for another title at the WPT Prime Gold Coast.
We'll be railing as much as we can here. Congratulations on what you have achieved so far Anita. All the best of luck for today. The whole of the NZ poker community is right behind you!

2022, I'm still not sure about you. I enjoyed the parts where you let me be lazy AND the parts where you kept me busy.
I loved traveling around this country but those moments where I could just hang at home were even better for my soul.
I love hanging out with the guy in these pictures. He makes me think. He makes me laugh. He endures my lazy ways and is super supportive when I do things good.
2023, I'm looking forward to you though. Just could you please be a little less expensive. Thanks.

Well that's it from us at nine2off productions. Rotorua Poker, this has been a fantastic weekend. We've had the best time catching up with friends old and new, watching everyone do that thing we all love to do.
To RPC, you have a good thing here - that's not just from us, we've heard it all weekend - from everyone. Thank you for having us here and letting us do what we do, the way we like to do it.

We're down to 3 tables and just did a quick chip count of the two highest stacks at each table. They are as follows -

We finished off yesterday playing down to 32 with productions Ropata Kerei busting out in 33rd spot only to have Raiha Savage ( up and ) also finding felt seconds later. This means the following 31 players bagged and tagged for the evening and will be back at 10am to resume proceedings where the top 16 will take away their share of $144,000 - making this the biggest prize pool for any poker game outside of a casino, in New Zealand.
As well as the chip count for the final 31, there is also a Table and Seat Allocation list, but players please do be sure to check at the venue as there appeared to be a couple of discrepancies in the list.
