Gerd Janson’s re-edit of Westworld’s ‘The Slam’ is a peach of a tune that sounds like it belongs at a 90’s Warehouse Rave with whistles and white gloves included. The track features on one of the latest mixes with music by Derrick May, Zombies In Miami and Purple Disco Machine with a bona fide Simple Minds classic ‘A Theme For Great Cities’ closing the mix.

Here’s the main man again, Andrew Weatherall, and his remix of ‘Pollux’ by Heretic features on the newest mix of Low Slung Grooves. The track is moody and atmospheric with Weatherall’s trademark dubby undertones. It’s also just gone through a repressing on vinyl it’s that special organised by , it’s a beaut check it out.

There’s also music by Dan Avery, Optimo (Espacio), Soulwax, S**t Robot and Peza. It’s an edgy mix of electronica for your aural pleasure.

On the back of what was another epic night I’ve missed with Dan Avery (pictured), to make up for it I’ve put together a fresh new mix of Electronic grooves with some of my firm favourite Electronic artists. These include Dan Avery, Andrew Weatherall (in case you haven’t heard by now), Optimo (Espacio), Soulwax, S**t Robot and the cheekiest scamp you’re ever likely to meet , Peza.

It’s fair to say I’ve thrown everything at this one, get it on, turn it up and wade in!

The man, the legend Andrew Weatherall, a character I often talk about incessantly to those who know me. His track he did with Timothy Fairplay ‘Beglamnered’ (together they are The Asphodells) features on the latest mix of chugging grooves. Also in the mix are music by Amy Douglas (her first track on DFA mixed by Crooked Man), S**t Robot and the Eskimo Twins plus a few more special tracks thrown in for good measure.
