I GOOGLED (Gay) Today! 🌈

When I was a kid GAY meant happy! (1980’s) 

I later heard other words referencing GAY people on the streets growing up. None of my family or friends spoke about GAYNESS. When I was a kid.

I even thought to myself certain friends of mine were “tomboy-ish” like me because I loved fishing and stuff! It wasn’t until my adulthood that I realized: Maybe my friends were GAY and didn’t feel compfortable telling me?

Maybe because my household did not have discussions about anything, period.

I knew I’d be a completely different type of parent.

Which leads me to this…

How do you describe Gay to your children?

How old will they be when you have the talk about birds and bees and gay birds and bees? 

Or something like that.

I’ll share more of my story about how I had to sit with my daughter and have that talk.

It wasn’t planned. It was necessary. 

I'll never forget it.

Where's Our Springtime Sun?

Even with the snow today, I had the sweetest customer show up.
I gave her a gentle reading and henna to anchor her goals.
She was only 11. The cards I chose today were THE EFFORTLESS TAROT DECK.

One thing I Love about the cards is everyone of them have a yes or no.
That's something I point out afterwards and ask if they've been trying to make a decision about something.

2021 was a crazy emotional year.

I don't usually look back.
I'm a lesson learned and keep it going kinda woman.
