Are you tired? Overwhelmed? Kids and family couped up in the house for the holidays? Need a break? Come on down to Legends Arcade. Let the kids play and have a blast while you relax in our amazing massage chair, or kick back and watch some Saturday morning cartoons, or play out your frustrations in a game of dig dug, or Mario bros. All while the kids get out their energy on skee ball, basketball, or air hockey!

We will be open Sunday 2-9, Monday 3:30-9, closed Christmas Eve/Day, then back at it Thursday 3:30-9!

Come join us New Years Eve for Legends Arcade Safe and Sober New Years Celebration! We'll be opening that day at 5pm, and we'll get this party started! Starting at 8:30pm we'll be watching the NYC ball drop,from 10-11 We'll have a live DJ, our in house specialist DJ McRibs, and finishing up the night by dropping our own amazing LED New Years Ball! There will be token specials all day, and non alcoholic drink specials on sodas, and Martinelli's sparkling cider to help toast out the night!

The banana has been caught! It was an imposter banana after all! I don't know when the bananas got switched, or how, but the offender has been secured. We will mourn the loss of our dear friend the real banana, but at least we can all rest now, safe and sound knowing the fake banana is detained. Farewell our potassium friend, we will miss you!

This weeks boardgame night (12/11) will feature 2 games: Gremlins Holiday Havoc and Hextraction (mostly because staff are getting itchy to play Hextraction again). I also hear there will be a game of chess going on as well! So come on down. We'll be starting set up around 5pm, with gameplay starting around 6pm. Its free to play either of these games, or you can rent a table for $10 and play anything from our amazing board game collection, or bring your own!

Why he wasn't sharing his love for Potassium with us any more, why he was suddenly so shiny and artificial looking...why he no longer played games or redeemed prizes. I went to go talk to our friend banana today about the joys of Potassium, but he kept acting weird and avoiding me. I kept feeling like someone was watching me the whole evening, and I would turn around and snap a picture, only to find out later that he was in each of them. I'm not sure whats happened to my friend. But he has definitely changed. Hes not the same vibrant, squishy, almost over ripe banana I remember, and I'm a little scared. Banana for scale

1) Thank you all for participating in the experiment! We will have the results to you soon! (If you haven't answered, there's still time!)
2) We have a follow up question for you..... We are trying to figure out if folks would be interested in a Safe and Sober New Years Eve Party. We were thinking of dropping a big new years eve ball inside the arcade and doing a party with non-alcoholic cider to toast at midnight, etc. There would be a cover charge which would include a cider, some glow sticks, and maybe a dj or a band. That being said, hosting these kind of things can get quite expensive, and if folks already have their heart set to do other things during that time that's totally ok, and we'll just save up and make our 1 year anniversary in February that much more exciting! But we wanted to ask you all if a New Years Eve party would be up yalls alley?

Steampunk costume contest! (Thank you Claire Puckett Willard our mistress of darkness for filming!)

Hey Legends! Update time! For those of you who don't want to watch the video but want all the details here the are! -This weekend is STEAMPUNK WEEKEND! Come on down, meet some cool people, engage in some amazingly fun games and activities! $10 suggested donation per day to engage, but no one will be turned away. -We got new basketballs which have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the sound in the arcade! -Thanksgiving day we will be open, doors open and able to play during normal hours. but the debit card register, and redemption counter will be closed at 6pm. We will be having a potluck in the back and everyone is welcome. -Black Friday we will be having a LIVE DJ - JD Drums! Come check him out FREE ALL AGES SHOW! He'll be playing EDM, Dubstep, and more so come on out! -We have reloadable giftcards available just in time for the holidays! Something something...stuff and things!

OK, so here is the scoop for steampunk weekend: November 15th (330-11pm), 16th (2pm-11), 17th (2pm-9pm). There will be a daily $10 suggested donation (this helps us continue to put on these types of cool events, but we wont turn anyone away if you can't pay). We have 2 special Guests coming: Lord Mason- award winning artist, prop maker, award winning baker, and one of the contestants of the hit TV show Steampunk'd. Come get an autograph and a picture, and say hello! Chief Haazard from Haaz Lab : award winning artist and prop maker, video game enthusiast, professional haunter, Zoo Ambasador, and OG Legend (some of you might recognize him from opening night). His prop scifi guns were so so detailed that they got banned from Etsy! (He'll be brining some to show/sell!) There will be intermittent apperances throughout the weekend by: Necrofessor - Award wining artist, published comic book artist, Prop maker extraordinaire, and general chaotic necromancer for hire. Lord and Lady Towers- Award winning prop makers, costume designers, and overal lovable weirdos! We have an amazing line up for the weekend planned: Friday: Special Guest meet and greet and mingle! Come on it, maybe challenged on of our guests to a round of Virtual On or Skee Ball! There will be ambient steampunk music, and its just an overal great time to ask these amazing humans about Steampunk, prop making, art in general, and more! Saturday - 3pm Junkyard Wars- Come and learn the fine art of turning someone elses trash into your steampunk treasure! Each group will be given a pile of random objeccts (junk) and some supplies and encouraged to turn it into something steampunk (or just cool!). Chief Haazard will be judging and the winning team will be awarded with fabulous prizes! 6pm- Tea Duelling- Come learn the fine art of Tea Dueling! Tea Dueling is the ancient art of having a steadier hand, and finer wit that that of your oponent as you both attempt to trick each other to crumble in def

Thank you all for making our halloween celebration so amazing!
