On the LAST Sunday evening of the month, we host live music from 6p-8p with free food and drink (while it lasts!). The music runs the gamut from acoustic folk to electric rock and roll/blues, and even sometimes country. It's ALL delivered in a family-friendly atmosphere. On the FIRST Sunday evening of the mo

nth, we host contemporary worship with "Sunday Night Live" with our house band, "Spiritual Awakening" at 6:00 pm in the 4th St.

On this National Day of Prayer, I share this devotional from the Nouwen Society:

"Silence means rest, rest of body and mind in which we become available for him whose heart is greater than ours. That is very threatening; it is like giving up control over our actions and thoughts, allowing something creative to happen not by us but to us. Is it so amazing that we are so often tired and exhausted, trying to be masters of ourselves, wanting to grasp the ultimate meaning of our existence, struggling with our identity? Still home wrapping isolation today. Let me invite you to church at Columbia Presbyterian/The Church of the Columbia Dream Center today at 10am! It's communion for the first Sunday in Advent, and you are welcome to the table!

At 5pm, the 4th St. Cafe will be open with a free meal, prizes, and Christmas music! And remember, our Kidz Christmas on December 16 and our Christmas Special 4th St Coffeehouse will be held on December 17 this year.
