All Vets had the honor to be present today at Southwest High School Jacksonville NC to be a part of a Veterans Day ceremony. This ceremony was organized by our own Tommy Tucker SgtMaj USMC Ret. We are thankful for all his hard work and dedication to our cause as well as raising awareness of the meaning behind Veterans Day. All Vets had over 900 American flags displayed on the football field and each student received one after the ceremony.
Hallie Rodgers was the speaker for the event. She shared with students and staff her experiences serving in the Navy and what it means to be a Veteran.
Doing a little trail cleanup before Veterans Day weekend…. (Pretty sure the leaves will be right back) but worth a try 😀
The All Vets section of the Dick and Willie Trail has some nice Veterans Day decor.. come check it out!
Don’t forget to come to our first A Walk in the Park, Hosted by All Vets this Saturday at Jack Dalton Park!

Today Tommy Tucker participated in a 9/11 Memorial Stair climb in Jacksonville, NC.
At age 71, he took the time out of his day to reflect and remember the tragic event.
He is a member of our Henry County Memorial Day Ruck 22 rucking team.
Way to go Tommy! 🇺🇸
Memorial Day Ceremony
The inaugural Henry County Memorial Day Ruck 22 was an amazing success!
We sold almost 400 flags that were carried with us for 22 miles. We raised over $8000 to go to helping two local
Veterans. We couldn’t have done that without community support. Thank you! 🇺🇸
Bringing together community partners, citizens (near and far), and veterans to be a part of the true meaning of Memorial Day will hold a special place in everyone’s hearts. 🇺🇸
On behalf of the rucking team, we say thank you to everyone who showed up in the rain to help us finish the ruck.
We hope you will continue to follow our page and be on the lookout for future events and opportunities how you can get involved
We had the privilege of having PO2 Hallie Rodgers, USN speak on our behalf about our event. We hope you’ll take the time to listen.
Thank you again!
