Black women have carried the weight of the world for generations, but it’s time to reclaim our right to rest, joy, and ease. The “strong Black woman” myth has kept us running on empty, suppressing vulnerability and denying ourselves softness in the name of survival.

But softness is strength. It’s a radical choice to prioritize you; your mental health, your boundaries, your pleasure. This is a movement rooted in healing, community, and generational transformation. It’s about creating space where Black women can thrive, not just survive.

Today, ask yourself: What does a soft life look like for me? How can I build more ease into my days? And who in my circle needs to be reminded that they deserve softness, too?

Why Nipsey Hussle Is A True Hood Icon & Why His Legacy Lives Forever 🕊

From the streets of Crenshaw to becoming a global symbol of Black ownership, resilience, and community empowerment, Nipsey Hussle was more than a rapper, he was making moves everyone was scared to do or they just didn't have that fire in them like Nipsey. He hustled smart, built businesses that gave back, and created opportunities for his community. Through Marathon Clothing, Vector 90, and even Marathon Burger, Nipsey redefined what it means to win in a system designed to hold us back.

Despite harassment from the LAPD and systemic forces, Nipsey stood ten toes down, a devoted father to his daughter Emani and son Kross, whom he shares with Lauren London. Their love was compared to that of twin flames, a bond rooted in legacy and purpose.

His tragic death on March 31, 2019, shook the world, but his spirit lives on, in every soul he touched and in every young person empowered to own their future, and every marathon still being run. Run your marathon with purpose. Build, uplift, and rise.
