Lovely day in our woods yesterday, damp but beautiful, with the fresh new beech leaves and birds singing in the gentle rain 💚

My garden is ideal for bees and little creatures of all kinds to over winter in. I leave the grass long, the borders messy with dead leaves and herbaceous plants, and piles of logs and twigs in the corners. I also have a succession of flowering plants throughout the winter/early spring for those insects who decide it’s warm enough to venture out for a quick snack. This queen Red-tailed bumblebee is out and about early and liking the Hellebore flowers. I’ve also seen one or two on my winter flowering Lonicera and Mahonia shrubs during the winter. Only the new queen bumblebees hibernate, the old queen, workers and males naturally die in the autumn. She digs herself a nice little hole in the soil or leaf litter for the winter. So it’s important not to tidy the garden in the autumn or too early in the spring - ideal for the lazy gardener like me! 💚

I take great care and attention to detail when making all my bouquets, buttonholes, wrist corsages and hair accessories to achieve the highest quality product for you. I'm a totally inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly company based in the Somerset countryside working from my home studio to make dreams come true for everyone! So whatever your wedding theme or style your silk flowers can be designed to match, and reflect your own unique personalities.

I welcome commissions for personal delivery/collection within Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol and Bath, and can send parcels to addresses anywhere in the UK.
