Tonight’s edition of the Summer Concert Series is unfortunately postponed once more.😕 We will be hopefully back in the park with better weather next Wednesday.

Well, it’s Bittersweet. We are postponing tonight’s concert series until next Wednesday (August 2nd), BUT that means tonight’s acts will get the chance to perform for all of you back at HOLLINGER PARK! 🎵🙂 We will be back there in full force August 2nd with two acts that are ready and anxious to put on a great show for you! See you next Wednesday! 🎵

Due to a scheduling mistake by the city, they chose to give the Hollinger Park to another organization this Wednesday (even though we had it booked). We unfortunately have to move our Concert Series this week (July 26) to Leo Delvillano Park on Pine South.
There is plenty of room, bathroom facilities and ample parking space at the park and we will be featuring two great acts for you. We know you will enjoy Jeff Baldock as our solo artist and EBKM, a fantastic group of kids that will rock the park! Hope to see everyone there! 🎵🤘

Last week, the skies opened up and dropped some much needed rain in the area, even going so far as developing into a tornado warning. This left us pushing back our 2 scheduled acts to Wednesday, July 19th, where Brad Martel and Blue on Black will continue on with their planned performances.

Until then, we have two incredible acts coming up for you this Wednesday, July 12th.

First, we will rock the park with an incredible female solo artist, Steffy, taking the stage at 6pm. You don’t want to miss this incredible talent, with her catchy originals and powerful voice, Steffy is sure to entertain!

Then hang onto your lawn chairs, because The Shaftmen will hit the stage at 7pm. This fantastic band is sure to have you up on your feet and dancing the night away!

Well…. We need the rain, our country is burning up.
Unfortunately we have to postpone tonight’s concert series in Hollinger Park. We are tentatively rescheduling tonight’s performances to July 19th. Hopefully we are back at it next Wednesday!

Day 1 of the summer concert series was a great success, with two incredible duos taking the stage and entertaining hundreds of attendees.

Our wonderful host, Leslie Anne, welcomed the community and even shared her impressive vocal skills, singing her rendition of ring of fire.

The always entertaining Estelle and John had people out of their seats, dancing along with Estelle in front of the stage while she sang many crowd favourites. Did you know, Estelle and John are staples of the Timmins Summer Concert series, having performed every year since the event began more than a decade ago? They even performed for us digitally during covid! The concert series would not be the same without this incredibly talented duo! The night closed with our very own northern Ontario sweethearts, Sabrina and Dave, who make up the ever talented Rosewood Ave. The duo regaled us with their toe tapping tunes, keeping the crowd thoroughly entertained. They performed their singles “Broke”, “Fool for love”, “Whatcha Gonna Do” and their newest song “Good Ole Days” but not before giving the crowd a sneak peek at a new up and coming song. With the weather forecast not looking favorable for tomorrow yet again, we are wondering if there is any venue in Timmins that would graciously open its doors to us for tomorrow should we have to relocate. Anyone have any leads?
We are also willing to consider live-streaming the event if there is space available that’s large enough for the stage setup but not the crowd!

Mother Nature is not on our side this week 😕
Todays concert at Bannerman Park will have to be cancelled. Wind, rain and the lake right beside us isn’t a winning combo.
We hope to add another Thursday to the Concerts at Bannerman Park to give these artists a chance to perform.

We waited as long as we could for the forecast to change but unfortunately todays concert won’t be happening 😔😭
As the organizers of the SCS our first priority is always the safety of our volunteers, the artists on stage and of course the crowd of people that show up.
It goes without saying that lightning and stereo equipment are not a good idea.
Thankfully, all of todays artists that were scheduled to perform all have another spot scheduled in upcoming concert days, so you won’t have to miss them! 🙂🎵
Hoping for better weather tomorrow for the second edition of Bannerman Park concert series!
