Friday morning was a monumental day as the youth and college students of Aurora convened at the capital. ✨ Sitting face to face with current leaders, these future leaders engaged in discussions about the potential for greatness and the future they envision. It was an incredible honor for all of us to learn from diverse perspectives, gaining new insights and inspiration for building tomorrow's leaders.

The NAACP Youth and College chapter recently hosted a Black History Month Brunch of Excellence at Mimosas Five Points in Denver 🍊🥂The restaurant, owned by members of the Black community, provided the perfect setting for our event. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, and it was clear that this place is truly underrated 👏🏾 🎉 The music 🎼🎤 was lively, the aesthetics were beautiful, and everyone came dressed in their best. We had a packed agenda, with 3 1/2 hours of dedication from an abundance of women present 📚We also engaged with other tables and began to merge, fostering a sense of fellowship and community 🙌🏾 This is my idea of leading with light 🌍It is such a blessing and honor to be able to conduct and serve underneath the NAACP, and I’m excited for you to join us as well. As Maya Angelou once said, "Each time a woman stands up for herself, she stands up for all women." 👩🏾‍🎓Let's continue to empower each other and make a difference🙏🏾

Last night during our Colorado Springs state national convention between Wyoming, and Colorado and Montana🤗🫶🏾 It was honored to meet the Mrs. and Mr. Of freedoms acres ranch in Elpaso county. 🤠🐄Well as the use of college received an award, and madam, secretary of state, Ms. Miller also receive the word so collectively, we took all two awards. Everybody looks absolutely beautiful and had a fantastic time. NAACP is extremely blessed to have each of these individuals 🙌🏾👏🏾💯💙🖤. 🏆

Grateful for a special night at our retreat! 🌼 Received flowers from the Secretary of State and shared flowers with the Secretary of State and Youth College Secretary. Huge thanks to Madam President, Sir of Treasury, and Madam Secretary for the Youth. Blessed to witness growth and development in these incredible individuals. 🙌 Discussed Nationals, covered basics like positions, elections, and mentorships. Welcomed 3 new adult members and 8+ youth members, including 2 junior youths. Thankful for our dedicated advisors leading the mission. Wonderful night!
