“Our wedding day was one of the best days of our lives. To be surrounded by our family and friends in one spot and be able to share our unique love story was very special to us. We are very humbled and thankful for all the love and support that we received on our wedding day. It was everything we could have imagined and more! One of the best moments that we will never forget was surprising everyone with a choreographed first dance to Justin Bieber’s “Anyone”.”

Me and a sweet friend took advantage of the destination wedding and gave ourselves two extra days of R&R.
And here’s what I came home with:
- no phone time is necessary for a reset (and ok to do)
- naps in a spa cave will do wonders for relaxation
- an afternoon of gazing at the mountain view is worth the sunburn

and I already can’t wait to go back 🌄

👋🏼 I’m back home and reminiscing on a truly special wedding weekend in Asheville:
The weather (praise Jesus for the sunshine), my fave floral columns I’ve created yet, the banana fosters dessert station, the video booth, the floral garden at the ceremony steps, the postcard guestbook, the stunning brides dress, the last song dance moves, the sweet bud vases on every table, the tree lights after sunset…and especially recapping these with the next afternoon 🤍✨

*sApPy pOsT* When I first moved to Nashville and was assisting a planner, I could have only dreamed of being published in a magazine. I used to buy one a week as my research to stay in the know and I still have some of them where I’ve folded down the pages for saved inspiration - hoping maybe one day I’ll get to do this for brides. Well, I think God’s so cool for this full circle moment. 🤍

I could not be more thankful for the extra hour today. and for my team and husband this weekend. of course the last wedding of the year would be an eventful one; long story short, I get to carry an epipen around and be a little extra cautious now. I mean, it’s fiiiine 😆
