From my family to yours, Merry Christmas!

As December brought the busy of 5 Sofie’s Blooms weddings, I apologize to our current and future clients for any delays in communication and 2025/26 event design.

My ever expanding family is one of my greatest blessings and I will be cherishing my people with some quality family time, rest and vacation together and back in the flower studio on January 6.

Fruit + Flowers was the vision for our September Lake Michigan bride. Buying and incorporating the fruit in the centerpieces was the easy part, but finding the blueberry vine to hang at the tent entrance was just that bit of extra I search for in every design we do. (Swipe to see:)

Even sweeter…….the cake knife being used is a family heirloom from the grooms grandparents. Engraved with their names and their wedding date February 14, 1964 ❤️

The STUNNING bride and a bridal bouquet filled with the fluffiest blush peony and , added in the deepest purple ranunculus and helleboers for a touch of fall.

I woke up before sunrise to create this very special bridal bouquet. Prayed over her, my son, their wedding day, their future and for all the family and friends joining in the celebration. The day was filled with the most love, joy, kindness and graciousness my heart has ever felt.

When we arrived on site to deliver and set up our florals for this Lake Michigan Tent reception, I realized the guests would be walking from the ceremony space to enter the tent right where a pole was. Because I trusted that my Bride trusted me I immediately thought “we NEED to cover the pole. It’s going to be the first thing guests see”.

I never arrive to a wedding without ALL the supplies and buckets of extra florals. Because you never know. So we ended up with this install on the pole. Not because it was planned for or even paid for but because it’s the right thing to do.

I was asked recently by a wedding planner what is Sofie’s Bloom’s brand identity?

THIS.

This is it. I want to get to know my brides so well that I want them to trust me, to trust Sofie’s Blooms. I want to LISTEN well and create for THEM.

So to see our last minute install in so many of the sneak peak photos ….my heart just BURST.
