We have zinnias and sunflowers at Honey and Hive Farm! Great for entertaining, events or just to liven up your living space! Message us if you are interested and we can cut and deliver or you can come and harvest your own! Honey and Hive Farm is located in Northport! We will also offer family photo sessions with your photographer or you can take your own photos in exchange for a donation to Eagles Wings!

Tomorrow, the day before the Tournament of Roses Parade 🌹, I will have a story on the lead designer behind the magnificent floats, Scot Wedgeworth. Get this, Scot is a native of Tuscaloosa, and has been waiting years for the opportunity of a lifetime to design a float for the Crimson Tide in the parade, and the dream has finally become a reality! He’s been out in Pasadena for a bit now, but we talked with him before he left!

Just a little peek of some of the flowers we created for the memorial service today for Mary Saban Pasko, beloved mother of former Alabama head football coach Nick Saban.

Sending our love and thoughts of sincerest sympathy to Coach Saban and Terry Saban, families and close friends in the loss of your mother and this special lady.

We were so pleased to be selected to help the family honor the life and legacy of Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty, MD. Not only was he a client, but an amazingly wonderful and kind human whose accomplishments and contributions to the Tuscaloosa community and the world were nothing short of incredible.

Our team worked tirelessly to create beautiful and lush floral designs that reflected his Hindu culture and faith. The florals included lush arrangements and strung garlands of marigolds, mums, roses, orchids, hydrangea, celosia, lisianthus, ge**er daisies, jasmine, zinnias, craespedia, helleborus, gladiolas, lilies and much more in a beautiful and bright Hindu-inspired color palette of red, fuchsia, yellow and orange with accents of white. The flowers were flown in from around the world as well as locally grown here in Tuscaloosa—a town whose people he loved so dearly.

Here are just a few photos and a small portion of the beautiful flowers we designed and created to honor this amazing man and his legacy that we wanted to share with you. Every room was filled with beautiful florals from beginning to end.

We would like to thank the Peramsetty family and his colleagues at Crimson Care Network for granting us this opportunity and for choosing us to help them honor an individual loved and reveled by so many. Sending all our love, thoughts, prayers and gratitude to each and every one.

Thank you to our entire crew, and Team Fabulous, especially assistant designers Diana Causey, Wanda Hamm and Amanda Kiser for your hard work and talent throughout the night that allowed us to make this happen on such a short notice and limited production time . We could not have done it without you! A special thank you to Mollie King and the staff of Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel and Crematory for their help and quality service and for everything you did to also make this successful… you guys are the best of the best!

I first met Sue Jones 18 years ago when I was hired to do her daughter’s wedding. She was a sweet, kind, loving and compassionate woman… she was also an amazing mother, wife, grandmother and sister. Over the years, she has done a lot for those with disabilities and special needs, being the mother of a special needs son…so she understood.

So, it was with great honor that I was able to create the beautiful flowers and decor for her memorial service yesterday. It was exactly what she would have wanted and loved. I’m sure she was smiling down on us and her daughter Amanda for creating a send-off fit for a Queen!

Thank you to our crew and assistant designers for helping make this happen for Sue and her family in a quick turnaround time and the brutal heat. We could not do it without you… Justin Myrick, Delia Haro and Shannon Hutcheson!

Also a big thank you to the staff and members of Circlewood Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa for helping us make this happen in the best way possible. Thank you, Debbie Duncan for all of your help and helping us get in and out of the church as needed.Thank you to the staff of Tuscaloosa Memorial for a job always well done and for being so great to work with.
