@suncebeat 2024 🇵🇹 Feeling really blessed to have been invited to play at Suncebeat again, this year in Portugal. It’s definitely a special festival for me, and it’s not just the set I feel grateful to have done, it’s everything that comes alongside it. It’s rubbing shoulders with some of best and biggest DJs I respect, it’s dancing in the crowd and experiencing those moments of pure joy, and it’s spending quality time with people I don’t get to see enough. It’s hearing certain records for the first time, and each time thinking, I need to get home and dig! It’s getting to open the Magic Yard and experiencing @kerrichandler soundchecking a room. Huge thanks goes out to Alex & Nick for having me, to the whole @suncebeat crew, my @raisingpeoplemanagement rpm crew @sysez & @minichantelle. Thank you Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Such a wicked crowd of people dancing and just enjoying themselves - this was a really great party to play so a huge thank you to @luvinleithevents for letting me do my thing and it was definitely one of my favourite sets I’ve played this year 🙏

LEV at Groove Odyssey

First time playing for @grooveodyssey Ibiza last weekend. I had a really lovely time playing to a friendly, family-like, receptive crowd. Plus having the chance to spend a few days with incredible producers such as @atjazzofficial @seanmccabemusic @djstacykidd and @grooveassassin who all feature in my DJ sets regularly was a joy. Shouts to @billygcocks for set of the weekend too. Thank you to @bobbyandsteveuk and the rest of the crew for making me feel so welcome! I’ll be back in Ibiza on the 30th of June playing for @glitterboxibiza 🌅

At @fever105 on Saturday I did an unexpected B2B with one of my favourite DJs Young Pulse 🙏 Before last year, I hadn’t played back to back with anyone, and I always said it wasn’t really for me. Over the past 6 months, I’ve played with a few different people, and turns out they can be quite fun if it’s with the right person and your sounds complement each other. I I have a big appreciation for Young Pulse’s music taste so it was really really fun. I wish we had longer to play - we could have taken it much deeper! Also, the man really does have his own edits of all the tracks I love 😅 Thanks to the @fever105 guys for having me, and thanks to @tomayres_dj @dancemusiclove @djchristinad for the footage. Lovely to see @john_morales_mix play again too ❤️

LEV and Faro at Southport

Way behind in posting! @southportweekender was another level this year. I had the pleasure of playing a warm up set with @iamfaro_ repping @deepintosoulofficial, and a solo set the next day - the best of both worlds really. Highlights have to be @djrontrent who played one of the best sets I think I’ve ever seen, @2foxlondon incredible live performance and my girl @iamfaro_ tearing up the place too. feeling very grateful to be rubbing shoulders with legends of the scene and very musically enriched ❤️ 📹 @maxwellshore video

Liverpool debut complete with TheShelter Lpool 💚 Possibly the most comfortable I've felt behind the decks in ages. Props to J for creating a lovely atmosphere full of friendly people. He sold this party out 4 months in advance with people coming from all over the UK and Europe, the place was nearly full by 9:30 and stayed pretty much packed till I finished at 4am. Thanks to all that stayed to watch me play 🙏

Paris Paris Paris 🇨🇵🙏 What a heartwarming welcome to the city! Thank you so much to @extazik742 for having me and what an amazing party you've created @house_o_drome. It really was a pleasure to play for such a lovely crowd, full of dancers and smiling faces. Shout out to the lady in the rollerskates, and @funkyroomfamily and @fredaire for the sick sets ⛸️ It was also an absolute pleasure to play before the legendary @john_morales_mix - 50 years doing this is something i can only dream of, and there was so much love in the room for him. It's always a joy to spend time with @youngpulse - one of the nicest guys in this industry you'll meet ❤️ Until next time!

Favourite set in a while if you can tell! 😅 What an absolute pleasure to make my debut for Glitterbox at Printworks London - one for the books! Despite it probably being the biggest thing I've ever done, somehow it was the most relaxed ive felt during a set for ages. I got to open the Inkwells and build the energy up so above are a few tasters of what went down - handed over to Aroop Roy who absolutely tore the room up. Astrotrax - The Energy is probably one big reason I'm into the music I'm into. Written and produced by my Dad, his astrotrax partner Sonjay plus written and sung by Shola. It was first released before I was born so Mum used to take me to the PAs when she was heavily pregnant with me so I like to think this is why I'm a huge house head It got signed to @defectedrecords in 2000 - I remember my dad telling me noone would sign it or play it until he stalked down Steve Jackson of Kiss 100 and gave him the record (kind of went full circle with me then working at Mi-Soul!) Last Sunday at Queens was the first time I've ever played it while my dad was in the room, and even Shola came along and jumped on the mic - a lovely moment ❤️ My one and only claim to fame (just about) but fair play to the old man - he made a choooooon!
