SWARM - Sydney Underground Techno
Swarm Industries was founded in 1999 and has since passionately represented Sydney's underground techno DJ's and producers. Formerly operating under the pseudonym of Trip2Space (which initially started as a weekly radio show on Radio Skid Row and then became a series of underground doofs from 96-99).
The first SWARM event saw UK headliner D.A.V.E the Drummer (Henry Cullen) unleash a mindblowing liveset- pivotal in shaping future events and the standard of sound to be expected at Swarm. Since then we have played host to such names as Chris Liberator, Speedy J, Geezer, Chris Liebing, Mike Humphries, Ignition Technician, Space Djz, Julian Liberator, Zebedee and Alex Bau alongside a huge array of local underground talent.
Swarm has always stayed true to its underground ethics and vibe and the music is always paramount. We pride ourselves on fostering new talent, pushing the harder and more experimental sides of techno and always ensuring the FUN is part of the equation. For us Techno is not a fad, it's our passion and has been for over 20 years. In 2019 SWARM will be celebrating 2 solid decades of techno parties. See you on the dancefloor!
