As a documentary photographer I love searching out the moments through the wedding day. Some parts are loud and full of laughter others are quieter and to the side but all of them help tell the story. As I read once, life won’t give you the same moment twice.

When looking through my own wedding images, I loved looking at everyone’s expressions. I saw things I didn’t notice and laughed at what some people did. It made me feel loved.

I think one of the biggest mistakes the wedding industry has done is made people feel like the focus is not the people who you love. These people have come in from all over to celebrate with you.

It’s our job as photographers to show that connection and those moments.

Sarah and Jack had an absolutely incredible wedding and the series of toasts they had were heartfelt and hysterical. I absolutely adored capturing their friends and families reactions.
