turned 9 in July. I was very intentional about the name of my brand when I chose it; it’s an invitation to join me on my culinary journey. That journey doesn’t always look like me in the kitchen, but it DOES always look like me around food. I appreciate everyone who’s been here since I was cooking out of my house on Douglas St. in undergrad just as much as I do those who have been here since I taught them a corporate class a few months ago. Thank You. Here’s to the journey —

2022 : BTS of my 2nd on camera food styling gig with Yahoo (In The Know Eats).

2021 : to cater my dear friend ‘s bachelorette party in New Orleans.

2020 : — The birth of virtual instruction.

2019 : My first full time job in the industry, but not in the kitchen, as a Catering Coordinator for Mr. Bing. Grew so much. I miss my team.

2018 : Landed my only ever culinary dream job as a cook for Cirque du Soleil—& traveled with my show to Boston.

2017 : — The weekday, prepared meal program that people are begging me to bring back to this day 😅

2016 : The biggest catering gig I’ve executed. Kansas City, MO. 150 ppl. 3 courses, with multiple entree options. Thank you big sis - .

2015 : - The final event series I hosted before leaving DC. Lots of collaboration and lots of support. Always. Thank y’all.

2014 : The with a dear photographer friend , who featured a variety of artists on her black wall in home in VA. These shots will likely make the book.

2013 : My VERY first job as a line cook, making desserts at Vapiano in Chinatown in DC.

I can’t believe we’re 9, y’all. So many things have happened and I still feel I have so far to go. Do you have a favorite moment? Feel feee to scroll the feed.
