Slight (but big) change to my Instagram today ⬇️

The end of an era - it’s time.

Its more emotional then I expected, Hurrikane was my whole identity for such a long time. But she was exhausting, destructive, and driven to overtake, over-do, and overwhelm any space she was in.

Recovery has given me the ability to step away from that identity, to a place where I don’t wish to be that force anymore. Some of my friends have even switched to calling me Sunshine, which I love, although its not quite a home for me yet.

My name, who I am, is Angie. Its bare bones, its authentic, its true. And thats how I want to show up in my world. Real, raw, and as myself.

I hope you’ll love me all the same, as Angie C.

How does one describe a rising star? 🌟

Hailing from the Toronto underground and the streets of Thunder Bay; as one of Kelowna’s newer talents Angie C has rapidly made herself known in the Okanagan as a force to be reckoned with.

Bringing with her an arsenal of deep driving house and techno bass lines with emotional build-ups, her Inspired, ambitious, and adventurous play style has consistently won listeners over from the East to the West.

But she’s no stranger to the scene. As Co-Founder of the ‘Thunder Bay Rave Community,’ She and her team were responsible for everything from Shambhala Pre-parties to local intimate underground events that keep the culture thriving.

You can expect to see her everywhere that there is bass this spring but for those who love house you can experience the auditory journey yourself and catch her at Distrikt Nightclub with the RAISED BY RAVES crew this Saturday. 🎶💫
