Here is the first wave of bands for next years Rage of Armageddon 8 fest. Labor Day weekend 2025, Aug 28,30,31. This is only a third of the bands playing the 3 day fest. Lots more great bands coming up. This fest marks my 15th anniversary booking shows so I plan on throwing one hell of a Metal party!! We will be announcing the complete lineup with ticket links in December.

I gotta say I’m real excited to announce the first wave of bands playing next years Rage of Armageddon 8 fest Labor Day weekend. This is going to be a truly awesome fest and by far my biggest event. I will announce the first 8 bands on Halloween. Follow the new ROA8 Instagram page and check out videos and other cool stuff.

Halloween is coming, and so is the first wave of bands for next years Rage of Armageddon 8 fest. I will be announcing the first eight bands on Halloween and the complete lineup by the end of the year. The fest will be 3 days and the lineups are stacked!!!

Today has been a monumental day for this old dinosaur. First, I sent out the first (of MANY) boxes of tape trading video tapes to my old friend Todd from Evil Eye Productions to clean up and transfer to digital. We will be starting up a YouTube channel so everyone can enjoy them. And then my eternal thanks to Mark from Electrocutioner for starting up an Instagram page for next year’s Rage of Armageddon 8 fest. I even created my own account. Please follow my new pages and stay tuned for lots of exciting stuff.

Instagram here I come!! Well sorta, I did create a page for myself (I think) and here is the new Rage of Armageddon 8 Festival Instagram page. Next year’s fest is gonna be by far my biggest so I’m using every avenue at my disposal to get the word out. I have to thank Mark Pursino for completely taking the reins and creating and managing the page cause I have no idea what I am doing. Please go follow, like, love, share, whatever it is you do but please help me spread my new Instagram page for next year’s Rage of Armageddon 8.

Clear your calendar for next years Labor Day weekend and make plans to be in Brooklyn, NY. Next year marks 15 years of me booking the best Old School Metal, and a lot of kick ass NYC Rock n Roll in and around NYC so I am putting together a monster fest!!! Rage of Armageddon 8 will be my biggest endeavor yet!! I will be announcing the first round of bands by the end of the year.

It’s been three weeks since the Rage of Armageddon 7 fest and I finally had the chance to get my remaining fest merch and all the killer goodies I got at the show. I can’t wait to listen to these new albums!!! I’ll be sending out all the shirt orders I’ve gotten since the fest, thank you all very much for the support!!!! I’m almost done paying off the fest, and can start saving for next year. I also finally had the chance to watch all the complete sets from the fest thanks to the first rate video recordings from Matt and NYC Metal Scene. They are available for all to enjoy. It was a damn good show if I may say so myself. Now on to the next fest, and ah damn, it’s gonna be sick!!

I still have some Rage of Armageddon 7 event shirts available. Two sided, looks awesome!! I should have a few of all sizes. My friend has been holding all my stuff from the fest and I will finally get it all this weekend. So, anyone that didn’t get their VIP package or shirt at the show I will send it to you.

NYC Metal and Rock Concert Promotions

Armageddon Productions is a Heavy Metal and Hard Rock Concert promotions company created by Ed Farshtey who started booking shows again full time in Sept 2010 with the newly formed Wendigo Productions based out of the Lower East Side, NYC. After booking 200+ shows and several tours with Wendigo over 6 years, I formed Armageddon Productions in September 2016, concentrating on all genres of Underground Metal and NYC based Hard Rock.

Ed Farshtey has been actively involved in the Metal underground since 1983, first tape trading, then starting the fanzine THE BOOK OF ARMAGEDDON in late 1985 with Mark Sokoll. In early 1990 I began working at ROADRUNNER RECORDS in NYC and was there for 2 1/2 years during the entire Death Metal explosion. During this time I also began booking some shows locally and even one in Detroit, MI. In 1992 I formed RAGE RECORDS with Joe Pupo and we proceeded to release eight 7” eps and ran a successful mail order distro for 5 years. In the summer of 2010 WENDIGO PRODUCTIONS was formed based out of a retail store/office in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The store sold records, clothing and accessories as well as being our base of operations for concert promotions. Hundreds of shows were booked from small bars to Irving Plaza and Bowery Ballroom. I also booked several US tours ranging from a few days to 6 weeks across the country. I did the first RAGE OF ARMAGEDDON festival in 2013, hand picking every band for each fest to create the ultimate show that I would enjoy, as well as other like minded metalheads. ARMAGEDDON PRODUCTIONS was started in September 2016 to further my concert promotions in the NYC area, primarily concentrating on all forms of Underground Metal - Thrash, Traditional, Power, Death, Grind, Black, as well as NYC based Hard Rock bands.
