And suddenly one month already went by since the end of our 1st Purpose & Connection retreat on Gozo Island, Malta! But the ripple effect is still felt around the world since our participants went back to their lives with new ideas and projects. It is so exciting to see friendships developing, businesses taking shape and cooperations happening. This is the reason why we created the retreat in the first place! :)

So many times I had to remind myself to stay positive and trust the process. And today all of my doubts, pain, suffering and healing made sense. I was feeling hopeless, lost, down. But then I remembered the message I heard so many times before: when you are at your lowest, it means you are just a moment before your breakthrough,so don't give up. And it is so true!!! These past few weeks have been hard to digest but today, here in Penang, Malaysia, a trip booked totally last minute and without a plan,many miracles happened. And I finally see all making sense. And I finally understand and see my purpose is linked to all those small parts of me that always ignited my soul but didn't make sense to my conditioned self. It was all meant to happen as it did. And in this small town in Malaysia I found my north , after 41 years of soul searching. And my best chapter is just about to start ,cause ladies & gentlemen, you are just witnessing the birth of a woman with purpose.

Who is the face behind this account?? I am Adriana, brazilian, 41 years old, IT and startups consultant and creator of the "In love with the road - Community for Digital Nomads & Remote workers" - https://facebook.com/groups/inlovewiththeroad . As you can see from previous posts I didn't show my face much. Partially cause I never enjoyed being on the spotlight, partially cause I lacked clarity on my goals and direction - and this is clear from the previous posts as well. But moving to Bali changed so many things inside and outside of me. I am finally embracing my flaws, my colors, expressing myself through ways I did not dare in other places ( my hairstyles for instance), taking up new challenges to face my fears, slowing down through exercising patience and resilience, and falling in love with each aspect of myself everyday everyday more and more, even the ones people judge "not adequate". Now I feel it is the moment to go all in and putting myself out there is part of my process. I am full of ideas and stamina and have no reason to hide my passions anymore!

These beautiful images were shot in the Gili islands over a week ago but as usual I don't manage to keep up-to-speed with all the things happening in my life so I post just now that I had time to breathe after my bday 🙃
I spent a lovely weekend with friends on Gilli Trawangan mostly, and did some snorkelling trip to Gilli Meno & Gilli Air too. These 3 islands are actually in Lombok area, and have the prettiest sunset views and clearest waters I have seen so far around the area I live in Indonesia. Gilli T is known as a party island but it literally has options for all tastes. As I have been in a more introspective mood lately, it was a place for great memories with friends, sunsets, great food and an early night karaoke just not to forget the tradition 🤣 Gilli islands are a must visit when in Bali!

Sometimes even if I plan to slow down , life just happens and accelerates its pace and brings new places, new faces and new projects without previous notice. And we gotta embrace the movement and go with the flow not to drown in the sea of constant changes. That's why when everything is a bit chaotic I appreciate even more the rare moments of peace, silence, observing. When I have chores to run in the town center, I almost always take the opportunity to get a bit lost in the narrow streets of Victoria, its architecture, small shops and colors. And it never fails to amuse and relax me 🤗
