Just a reminder, I will be at the Parkville Farmers Market tomorrow from 7 - noon! I ran out of time to take pictures of all the bouquets but this is my favorite I’ve put together so far. I call it, Goth Berries. If it’s not your thing, that’s okay, because all of my bouquets are unique in colors and flowers.

These are the flowers that took the most patience to grow. Most people buy plugs but I started these from seed. They’re picky about watering and temperature, they’re slow to grow, but totally worth the time and effort! The champagne ones are about the prettiest color of flower ever and there’s more colors to bloom!
I should have a bunch of these lisianthus available when I’m at the farmer’s market next weekend. This weekend we’re celebrating my son’s birthday a little ahead of schedule and going camping.

I might have some lisianthus this coming Saturday’s farmer’s market 🤩. Please disregard the weeds 😂.

A sneak peek at what you’ll see in bouquets this coming Saturday at the Parkville Farmers Market in the first picture, and the second is the first of the zinnias to bloom from the Floret Flowers precious metals collection.
If you haven’t heard of Floret Flowers, you should check them out. They create new colorful breeds of Zinnias and other flowers, and are huge contributors to the flower farming world.

These are a couple of bouquets I made this week for one of my husband’s work colleagues. I think they are two of the best bouquets I’ve made so far. And one has my first dahlia of the season.

I know it’s been a moment since I’ve been to the farmers market. I’m in that season many flower farmers are in where we are saying goodbye to a lot of spring blooms and waiting for the summer ones to open. I am very fortunate to have a variety of roses which are working out great for the slow down period, and even though I don’t have a lot of bouquets for this weekend, they’re very full and so pretty!

I had planned on being at the farmers market this weekend but the ranunculus growth is starting to slow and we are at the almost stage with everything else right now. However, that means I should have a decent amount of bouquets for the following weekend. I’ll keep everyone updated 😊.

PSA: I had a customer reach out to me about a bouquet she got this last weekend that was just not looking great after a couple of days (I think we may have had some issues with my floral fridge 😔) and I just wanted to put it out there, if you ever get a bouquet from me that is just not looking great after a few days, let me know and send some pics! I will gladly replace it with a new bouquet. If you’re close by, I’ll even deliver it to you, or give you credit for another bouquet for a later date. I’m still learning and adjusting some things with this flower business, but I want to do what’s right for my customers! And it helps me identify problems I need to be aware of, like a too cold floral fridge. Anyways, message me any time and I’ll make it right 😊.

So I had hoped to have a bunch of pink, yellow, and white bouquets for Mother’s Day yesterday but my ranunculus and stock have decided to hold off until actual Mother’s Day.
Today I’ve been busy moving the anemones out of the high tunnel and into other parts of my garden because the worms have invaded and they ate up about 20 of my anemone blooms 😩. If you see white powdery stuff on the leaves in the pics, it’s diatomaceous earth. I try to go for gentler options for pest control. Hopefully moving those out helps. In their place I planted some of my 30 dahlia plants that are all hanging out in pots. I’m ordering mesh bags to covers those before they bloom because I know from past experience the beetles love to eat them up.
