3 years in the making. I’m proud of this. Very proud. I’ve rewritten this project countless times. I gave up on writing music and focused on other things in my life. I felt an emptiness not writing and slowly started drafting lyrics on my MacBook (Because who writes in a notepad anymore). Started with 10 songs and reduced to 5. I realized I was writing to be someone else and scrapped the entire project and started over. Meeting in Santa Cruz brought back inspiration and a reason to write. Why was I trying to make only radio hits? So I started writing for me and only me. These songs may not all be “hits” but they are my proudest work. Theo’s Theory is, hands down, my best all around work. I lost my voice, and found it again.
