Well this night had everything with football fans Madri Masterminds mostly Chelsea v Expected Toulouse mostly Manchester United going head to head and swapping top if the league question by question it was an exciting finish with Toulouse in winning distance with 30 points to clinch it at the last Nearest wins question and having a history of doing that virtually every general knowledge quiz in a new quiz history it looked like they had done it with a 17 guess with a 21 number required but out of the blue Dan Gleeballs who were there for the hell of it also guessed 17 so it came down to fastest answer which Dan Gleeballs won by being faster with them getting the last 30 points it left a very thankful and some would say lucky Madri Masterminds the winners.
Back to general knowledge next week and a movie theme night at the end of April.

Wow!
Well Expected Toulouse stayed quite quiet and sat back in 3rd most of the night waiting to nake their break in the evil round as they normally do and it looked for a while that Dan Gleeballs were too far in front to be caught but the Madri Masterminds looked to have more of a chance of catching them.
But with a couple of good answers Toulouse closed the gap with 3 of them all having a chance to win at the last 30 point nearest wins question and with team captain Graham having a very good track record I knew that they could and probably would do it again and I told everyone that could be the case and did they they certainly did with the number required being 143 and the Madri Masterminds guessing closer than top of the board Gleeballs with a very good and probably winning anywhere else but here with 120 Expected Toulouse guessed 122 and did it again.
Next week is our first theme night of the year with our sports bar being full of sports fans it seemed the only choice for an all night sports theme.
Other all night forthcoming themes are Music and Movies and the rest will be 20 questions on a popular theme voted for by you.

I won't bother with the winning team pictures or the scoreboard you can guess.
Don't forget to let me know about any theme's you might fancy and that we are back on Monday night next week instead of Wednesday.
And won't be bothering with the handicapping.

Hope to see you all tonight with big prizes and big fun to be had!
We are going to bring in the handicap scoring system for any team that win 3 or more quizzes in a row to give other teams a chance of winning with the winners starting with a minus 50 score which will start after Easter.
Don't forget to let me know of theme's you'd like and we will start with a Sport quiz on the first Wednesday of April when I'm back from hospital.

Another great night at the William Garland but the same result.
Another win for Graham and the team with a little help from some extra team mates I'll grant you but with such a big lead they couldn't be caught buy anyone it left the next teams down the score board to fight it out.

The Madri Masterminds seem to be getting the hang of it now and Dan Gleeballs just missing out last week they have got their work cut out!

Well done to the Quizee Rascals who made it 4 in a row tonight with a nail biting finish that needed them to get the 30 point nearest wins question to clinch it as Dan Gleeballs was only about 15 ahead.
Well done guy's I forgot to take pictures as I've only just this page up but will sort out next week.
Come on teams it's time for a new winner before I have to bring the envelopes back.
