So... all these people standing up for Harrison Butker... are primarily saying he doesn't act the way he spoke, essentially... that they judge him by the content of his character; y'all are missing the point. He may act a certain way towards you, around you. But his words, when given a platform, reveal failings in his character. He may seem like the nicest guy in the world, but at heart: he's a backwards ass bigot. All this s**t is just enabling. Free speech, yadda yadda, wants people to do what he feels is right (and that, right there, is a much bigger problem -- when you're backwards ass moral issues impact other people -- and they do -- its not ok because you FEEL IT'S RIGHT); as an actual, moral, good human being it is your job to point out that his words (that you freely admit you don't agree with) are ACTUALLY dangerous and contribute to a culture that devalues people and leads to murder and su***de. Gee, Harrison, how does your god feel about that?
Travis, Patrick, Andy.... I don't you see you coming out for the things you say you "don't align with". All you are doing is defending him and enabling his s**t. If you "don't align" with those values say what you do align with. The only way to actually combat that s**t is to say the opposite, not by covering your ass and trying to shield your "friend".
Lest we forget: Orson Scott Card is a right-wing, bigoted do*****ag who has still managed to win some of the most prestigious literary awards. Clearly, the judges who award these prizes need to take a more serious look at what they are promoting.

At the very heart of Ozark magical practices is connection to the Flow--the source of innate, wild, natural magic that courses like a river through all things in the universe. Some say the Flow is sourced in traditional concepts of the Divine, others that the Flow is its own source--like a neverending spring. In this first class of the series, we'll explore how Ozark healers and practitioners have connected themselves to this Flow and what that connection means for our own growth and development along the path. We'll also look at techniques for reconnecting ourselves when we feel like we're out of the Flow.
