A year ago today I took the first step into changing my life and where I was headed, if you told me a year ago I’d be able to take a 180 and be where I am at today, I definitely wouldn’t have believed you, but I’d want to. Addiction is the hardest thing to overcome, and so far that’s been my greatest trick. Waking up everyday and choosing to be sober can be tough, but for myself the choice is always worth it. My life has changed in every single area since becoming sober, and I am beyond lucky to still be alive and breathing, and I thank a higher power every additional day I get to breathe, and that I get to experience. Because of sobriety I’ve found a home, I’ve met someone I love dearly and deeply and who cares about me equally, someone who helps me in my sobriety, my magic and my life. I’ve improved my magic immensely, I’ve purchased not one but two new cars 😅 (the second one was because the first one was totalled in a car accident) I’ve repaired relationships, I’ve lost 60 pounds, and I’ve been able to be there more for people because I’ve become reliable.

I love my life and everyone in it, and I hope I can continue making people happy through my magic
