It couldn’t be simpler, you find The Petal Emporium and resonate with our signature style of seasonal, natural, romantic and curated floral displays.

You enquire via our website with your date and a few details to give me a little idea of what you might be after.

I’ll be in touch and if I’m available you’ll be given direct access to a window in my diary, allowing you to book in a consultation at a time to suit you!

During the consultation you’ll chat me through where you’re at with your planning, your initial thoughts for your day and the sorts of elements you might be looking for. I love hearing all about your journey so far!

After our chat you’ll receive a bespoke proposal detailing indicative seasonal flowers, mood-boards to give you a sense of the look and an itemised quote.

It’s the start of the most beautiful journey, my clients frequently tell me it’s the part that gets them feeling so excited and relaxed about their wedding plans. Now it’s your turn, I can’t wait to meet you, hear about your day and get to work on beautiful ideas for you.

Full of the joys of summer 🫶

In gorgeous Ella’s bouquet we included scrummy whites featuring the very best scents of the season. Garden rose, sweet pea, geranium, jasmine and honeysuckle, alongside a summery assortment with dinky daisies and dancing cosmos taking a starring role.

Me running at my first wedding of the year like 🕊✨

Coming to the end of wedding season is always so sad for me, the energy of weddings is magic and being a part of them is so special, and addictive!! Absolutely spoilt that my first one is so early this year.

I’m busy prepping for the weekend and then I’ll be away for a couple of weeks. So a little reminder that I’ll be back on emails, consultations and calls w/c 23rd of January.

These are the good old days 🌹

T&Gs day at was absolutely bursting with personality. From the signage to the blooms, and of course this smiley pair! Full of joy and colour!

The brief was lots of colour! So we went for it. Bold bright roses, peonies, hydrangea, delphinium and clematis took a starring role in arrangements.

It can be easy to steer clear of colour, but don’t be scared to go bold! Maybe you want to introduce some colour to your day but you’re not sure how or which ones, here’s a few things that could spark ideas if you’re making a choice on colours:

🤍 Think about your venue, are there any strong colours that we need to consider pairing with or compliment? Or is it a neutral blank canvas?

🤍 Look around your home, what colours are you consistently drawn to in your decor? Do you go bolder with your choice of artwork?

🤍 What clothing and accessories capture your attention to? Neutrals, pastels or brights?

🤍 When you’re out and about or on holiday, what makes you say ‘wow’? An abundant cottage garden? A row of coloured houses? A wild meadow?

🤍 What’s in season? What colours do you see in the gardens around you?

For Emily & Joe’s ceremony we surrounded them with flowers, a swathe of meadows rising up to the front of the boathouse, framing their precious vows.

An array of pastel beauties with garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas and delphiniums taking the starring role in the meadows, complimented by more delicate blooms with nuanced colourings.

This is a gorgeous alternative to an archway to frame your ceremony beautifully, with tons of versatility to scatter around afterwards.

I’ve hung up my apron and closed my laptop, and I’m heading off on a little holiday. My first time to another country for more than two years and I can’t wait!! We’re currently en route to the French alps for a week on the slopes.

Gosh you lovely lot have been keeping me super busy!! I’m thoroughly excited about the beyond gorgeous weddings coming up this year!!

So, with that, a bit of an update on my availability, I am totally fully booked this summer!! I can squeeze in just a couple more weddings going into autumn and winter then that’ll be it! So if you’re getting married later this year and looking to book me as your florist, I’d encourage you to do this sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment before I close my 2022 diary.

Another little update to my services, I’m no longer offering gift bouquets, to fully dedicate my time and attention to my beautiful weddings.

2022 is going to be a great one! ✨

Flowers really are absolutely more than ‘just flowers’, they’re parts of perfect moments that become beautiful memories.

Get ready for the most beautiful testimonial I’ve ever received, from the lovely Amy who married Sam late last year.

“I absolutely loved our wedding flowers and everyone commented how beautiful they were and noticed the little personal touches you had included. It was like you had taken an image of my perfect bouquet out of my head and produced it in real life!

I also have to say what an amazing job you did with my wheelchair. To be honest, I have complicated feelings towards my wheelchair as although it gives me so much freedom now it is a relatively new introduction into my life. I found it so difficult to hold onto an image of how I and our day would look like as the bridal bouquet plays such a central part in this. I couldn't help but feel my chair would 'ruin' things. It looked beautiful and, as I know it is, truly looked a part of me in how the flowers complimented my bridal bouquet. I felt absolutely resplendent and beautiful sitting in my chair which is a feeling I have never had before and actually makes me feel quite emotional! I was also so touched how you made my bouquet just as beautiful (and stable) when sitting and wheeling as it was when standing which suited my needs perfectly. These really made my flowers feel special and personal. In a world where disability adaptions are just functional, often ugly, an afterthought or made out to be 'inconvenient' my experience with you couldn't have been more different. It all felt beautiful, personal, and that nothing was too much trouble. I suppose what I mean to say is that I felt like 'every other bride' in a way in which I never felt I could! I know you have worked with wheelchair-using brides before so thank you so much for using both your skills and your platform to raise our visibility within wedding media”

I couldn’t have been more delighted to be a small part in making Amy feel as beautiful as she absolutely is on her wedding day.

Gosh I’m missing weddings and having my hands on beautiful blooms like these! Our chats and putting together proposals is keeping me going for now but I can’t wait to be back to my favourite bit, turning up on your wedding day with your flowers.

It’s a belated happy new year from me!! ✨

I had a bit of time a way from the ‘gram and emails, to both have a bit of downtime after last year and to catch up on taxes and boring life admin.

But I’m back!! And mega excited for 2022!

It’s getting festive over here!
Making preparations for Saturdays workshop, the second week of wreath kits are going out tomorrow plus all your other lovely festive orders. If you’re still looking for a wreath kit you’ve missed the cut off this week, a final lot of kits will go out next week then that’s it for those!
You can still get dried bits and fresh blooms up til 15th Dec then I’ll be shutting things up for Christmas.

How time flies 🕊

I feel like everyone is saying this at the moment but I cannot get over how quickly this year has gone?! I’m baffled beyond belief that we’re half way through November!! It still feels like summer in a way cause it’s still full on with lots of gorgeous weddings!

I’m forever in a state of ‘sh*t I’ve nowhere near ticked everything off the list’ and ‘crikey I need to give myself a break’. It’s been both the best year ever and THE most tiring year ever. I’m forever trying to keep up with you all, while also having my hands continually full of flowers, and plan for the future success of my business. This year hasn’t gone as anyone planned, of course, making up for last year. But it’s certainly not a way of working I’ll be keeping up going forwards, there’s been no balance. My poor family and friends have been majorly neglected by me this year (sorry). The number of occasions I’ve missed out on has been gutting but the special days I’ve been part of more than make up for it and I wouldn’t change it!! But I want the joy of what I do to sustain long term so I will be a lot more restricted on the numbers of weddings I take on going forwards.

I do have availability remaining for 2022, but not much so do get in touch sooner rather than later if you’re yet to book your florist for your day next year.

I’m not taking enquiries for 2023 until at least January. This is partly due to the sheer madness of this year and not having time just yet. And also needing a bit of time to work out changes happening in the floral industry due to the effects of covid/brexit and all that fun stuff… ew.

I want to say a massive thank you to my dreamy clients who have been so so patient this year. Those of you that have sent cards, gifts, kind words and photos from your day, it means the absolute world.

I’ve got the last few beautiful weddings of this year to look forward to, then it’s onto a helluva dreamy looking 2022, I can’t wait!

The dewy grass and misty mornings are well and truly here, signalling time to get our cosy knits out of hiding! And so, it’s time to talk about Christmas!

Wreath kits are back!! The perfect crafty Friday night in with a few pals over a bottle of something festive.

The beginnings of the wedding bouquet 🕊

I start by laying everything out, picking the very best of the best blooms ready for their moment in the spotlight. The ones bending in just the right way, the ones open just the right amount and the ones that are just the right shade.

When they’re all out in front of me I can start arranging them into position. My style is a natural, with a garden gathered feel. I live for those delicate tendrils and floaty touches that dance like little butterflies. Designed to feel organic and loose yet romantic and elegant. 🌿

I was totally in love with Charly’s bouquet and it was the most fun to create. She wanted a totally wild look with loads of foliage and only a touch of flowers. I included an array of textural beauties to create an unapologetically unruly affair.
